uhh hello i rlly like ur psds, what kind of tips and advices would u give for begginers ?? like me ;33 ( like color and cotrast/brightness/layer option..ect )

HELLOO !! Yes i can absolutely share tips that i used , and some things i do with my current psds now !! Ill put it undercut tho since this will probably be long…

What i did when i was a beginner

One thing i did alot was referencing others psds that i loved, the first psd i loved was this one

( I dont know who made it , i found it on DeviantArt and theres no credits )

So what i would do, i would have it open in a seperate photopea tab, and have the psd im working on in a different one

I would peak at the layers while creating mine to take reference and inspo

Of course if a creator of a psd doesnt want inspo or copy , dont publish the psd.

Keep creating until you can create a psd on your own without inspo !!

I startes creating psds in march , and ive come so much farther from then to now

Sometimes i still create psds i dont like , so trust me , no one gets it perfect every time !!

Never feel demotivated <3

Things i commonly do

Heres a basic list of things i ALWAYS have, not sorted by importance

Selective color, gradient map, curves, brightness and contrast, color lookup, threshold !!

Heres a list of things i usually add, but not always

Channel mixer, hue/saturation, Vibrance, invert

I always love my psds to be bright, and colorful, i love having psds that taste good (Synesthesia) which is why they usually all kinda look the same

I always use alot of selective color, it really can help when ur trying to create a psd based off a certain color !!

Heres my usual setting for Curves :

You can see, i usually just adjust it until i like how it looks, usually looking something like that tho!!

This is my normal gradient map settings, i then set the layer to soft light, then make the opacity 30-50% , higher if wanting something more soft.

Advice i have to give :

Never get demotivated , and always try new things !!

Try finding your own style, what you like, and try things outside of ur comfort zone!!

Play around with adjustment layers, opacities, blending layers, all of it!!

Do what you like, make sure YOU like your psds, make it a hobby, not a chore!!
