Hello— this is BigHit

Ugh—when I see that.

I’ve never written a blog. I don’t have many followers so I don’t know who might read this. I think I’m just writing this down so someday I can look back at this time and remember how I felt—I guess for many Army, how we felt.

I’ve been Army since 2016, with the release of “Wings” and ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears.’ I guess like most Army—I just understood the assignment, gladly. The more I watched their content on YouTube, listened to their music and got to know them through their programming I just came to adore them. All of them. It seems like during that time on any given day any of them could be my bias.

For me though, as time passed, more songs/albums released, concerts etc, something became very apparent. And I wasn’t looking for it—it was Jimin and Jungkook. I cringe when I hear shipper. To me, shipping implies I wish them to be together. But, they showed me—that’s not a wish—that’s reality a deep, strong, trusting and committed friendship/relationship. I just would like to see them stay happy and healthy. I am grateful they are entering via the companion program.

To be clear—I’m a grown woman, I don’t want to marry any of the members, I am not their wife, not their girlfriend. However, I am their devoted fan. I love them how a mom loves their child. I am proud of them, relish in their success and feel sad with their Iows. I am in it for the long haul. I am always going to support them. I always loved being Army—and spending time with Army, especially at concerts. But this Chapter Two—wow, it has brought out a darker side in many Army. Why? What’s the agenda? You’re angry because this is different than expected? Well, that’s how life goes— can’t we all just get along? The infighting in Army, the malicious rumors being propagated, are unhealthy for the members and for us. We must take care of them and ourselves.
