Yes, more often than not INFPs are good at reading people. And quite accurately. Reading between the lines is part of being an Intuitive type - xNxx. 😊

I learned that I could do this at a young age, but it wasn’t until I was a bit older that I realized most other people couldn’t read me as well. (I talked about that in another answer.)

That environment plus being an INFP child with an Intuitive thought process made it easier for me to read people as I grew older. Add to that an INFP’s inclination to ponder limitless possibilities, this made it very easy for me to read people. 😏 Was I always right? Of course not. But it gave me enough of a profile to know whether or not a person was safe. And really, that’s a great place to start.
