Today/tomorrow(depending on the timezone) is Usopp’s birthday!

Still in a silly mood so here’s an inconsequential reason why Kiku being the final member is essential. Between Nami-Zoro or from July-November, there is currently a glaring gap where there are too many missing months in between the birthday of a Straw Hat and the next. Kiku’s birthday happens to be at the perfect time to smooth out that gap.

January.

Robin - February 6th.

Sanji - March 2nd, Franky - March 9th.

Usopp - April 1st, Jinbei - April 2nd, Brook - April 3rd.

Luffy - May 5th.

June.

Nami - July 3rd.

August.

Kiku - September 9th.

October.

Zoro - November 11th.

Chopper - December 24th.
