Currently thinking about the fact that Kai only gets violent towards Miley after she starts mocking Kanna.
After she deliberately made her remember her sister's death.
Toying with Kanna's survivor guilt and blaming it on her.
After her sibling died right in front of her.
So I'm thinking...considering the parallels, it makes sense that this was the thing that triggered Kai's response. Kai understands. He really does.

Description:
Sara, tired and hopeless slowly walked to the exit of the hallway she was walking through. She had lost everything. Her friends and allies dead from the terrible death game. Once she went to the exit, a familiar face that she had seen before emerged from the shadows. " No... It can't be... " Sara said in disbelief. " HAHAHA... Oh, but it is!" the figure said while Sara started to spiral into despair.
