I like thinking about this especially with preds who revive some of there prey because oh boy does it give them all the more power.

Some how they get so distracted they don't notice their belly is converting their friend(s) into energy so they can keep going. So when they get where they can let them out, they end up only burping and finally noticing how sloshy their belly is.
