Since tomorrow is the start of Pride Month, I just want to say, as a lesbian feminist, that trans people are welcome and valid and safe here. This is for transwomen and transmen, for nonbinary folks, for folks who do medically transition and those who don't, for those who present femme or masc or anywhere in between. Transwomen with facial hair? You're valid. Transmen with tiddies? You are, too. Nonbinary and genderfluid folks? You as well.

The queer community is a community full of so many different people. All of our experiences are unique, but there is a common thread we share, which is that we are othered and vilified by bigots who wish we didn't exist. Those very same bigots seek to divide us into more easily broken pieces, and I for one don't stand for that. There is no acronym without the T, there is no rainbow without our trans and nonbinary siblings standing under it. I firmly believe that.

Right now, the offline world is very frightening and dangerous for trans people in particular. I don't have very much power on my own, but I can say that whatever power I do have is yours. I will never abandon you; you are always welcome here.
