Summary: When you first decided to move into a house full of guys, you figured it wouldn’t nearly be as bad as people made it out to be. Little did you know, living between your best friend, your crush and a mysterious recluse would only turn into disaster upon finding yourself caught in the middle of a brutal love triangle.

Author’s Note: It’s not really a full triangle, maybe a very nicely shaped ‘V’, but we’re just gonna go with it. Either way, still tragic. Enjoy!

When it comes to living with in the same house as three other people, there has to be rules. Rules, that no matter how minor or insignificant, shall not be broken. And considering you are rooming with three men, none of which happen to be ideal housemates, these rules must be set in stone and obeyed by all. The rules are as follows:

Keep your spaces clean and do your part to maintain the integrity of the household.

DO NOT go into each other’s personal spaces without permission. You will get caught.

If you’re going to have sex in the house, keep quiet. No one wants to hear that shit.

Whatever happens in this house, stays in this house.

And finally, the most important rule…

Waiting tables was already grueling work, especially at the busy upscale steak house Jungkook worked at, but to have a customer scream at him in front of the other guests and staff? The poor boy was almost in tears when he stumbled into your waiting arms, and that’s when you decided that today you would wait on the lovely boy hand and foot.

In the days that followed your little tryst on the top floor of the Starlight City Superhero League building, you would describe yourself as… sore. Very sore. You had no idea how JK had lived this long or how they still managed to fight and bicker when Jin gave such good—… anyway. You were sore, physically, yes, but you were also thriving. You always seemed to live out your best days when your libido had been taken care of—maybe it was a psychological thing, because your needs were being met. Either way, you were sore but had enough energy that it didn’t bother you all that much when you jumped around on patrol.

Which, incidentally, was where you found yourself now. It had been two days since you’d met with Jin and JK, and you were enjoying a final evening of freedom before the Annual Superhero Alliance Gala the next day. You were kind of looking forward to it, but the gala had historically proven to be really dry and boring, especially in recent years, which was why BB and Gyeom tended to act out so much. But now they couldn’t even do that, or RM was going to cuff them to a pole, and not in a kinky way. You wanted to have fun, but you understood why he did that; it wouldn’t just be superheros from your region at the gala, but from every region, and some of them tended to be a lot snootier than one might think for a ragtag bunch of superheroes. You were pretty sure it had to do with the fact that the cities they were assigned tended to be more posh and high-end, so they too adopted a fitting holier-than-thou attitude. Your blood began to boil slightly as you remembered that a certain dumb superhero was going to be there tomorrow. You’d managed to hold yourself back last year, for RM’s sake if nothing else, but this year you weren’t going to be in such a forgiving mood— if she wanted to talk smack again this year, then she was going to get hit, simple as that. You didn’t make the rules.

The city was quiet tonight, something you’d be suspicious about if Tempest wasn’t still absent and the other two villains hadn’t quietened down since your little rendezvous. As it happens, Tempest was still gone, and the other two had decided to cool their activities a little, and you were enjoying the peace and quiet. Well, had been enjoying it. As it usually did whenever your thoughts turned to Tempest lately, your mood soured slightly. That fucker still hadn’t contacted you. A part of you was genuinely worried, and the other part… felt slighted. You really didn’t like that he had you feeling this way, annoyed because he hadn’t texted you. You shouldn’t have cared! But for whatever reason, you did, and the distinct lack of contact had you pissed. You ignored the real reason you knew you were mad about, and decided to blame it on the fact that he’d more or less promised he would and then hadn’t. Right, you felt a little less pathetic if you pretended you were mad because he’d gone back on his word.

You kicked a can that someone had left discarded in the gutter, watching it tumble across the pavement desolately before you felt guilty and ran to pick it up, tossing it into the nearest bin. You were on the outskirts of the city, and as one would expect there was a fair bit more litter. You didn’t want to think of what it would look like for a superhero to be walking around picking up litter at around 9 o’clock at night on the outskirts of town, but you couldn’t help it. Skewed as it may be in some ways, your moral compass was still very much working. If you saw rubbish, you were painfully inclined to pick it up. You wished your moral compass could be so straightforward all the time, especially regarding villains. If you saw a villain, were you painfully inclined to arrest them? Historically, apparently not.
