Logan laid comfortably on your stomach, his arms wrapped around your lower back and hips as he buried his face into your abdomen, the bare skin of your tummy visible just slightly underneath your sweater.

Lazily scrolling through your phone, splayed out across his bed with him on top of you, your fingers trailed over his upper shoulders, scratching the fabric of his white compression shirt, rubbing his sore muscles from a long day of training and battle practice.

As your fingers trailed upwards mindlessly on his back, your manicured nails finally reached the nape of his neck, teasing the edge of his hairline.

Scrolling down further through your instagram, you let out a soft sigh of content as your fingers finally buried into the hair on the back of his head, eliciting a low rumble from the back of his throat.

You perked up at this, glancing past the dimmed screen of your device, an eyebrow quirked upwards at his reaction.

“You alright, Lo?”

You muttered out, a small, curious smile tugging at your glossy lips, damp from your teeth gently biting at them out of unconscious habit.

“Mmmh,”

He responded in a low hum, leaning into your fingers as you smiled, a small, amused chuckle leaving your lips at his fingers that slid lower on your back, cupping the backs of your thighs with a slightly possessive grip.

You felt a soft, warm press of his chapped lips against your stomach, just above your panty line, and a small laugh left your lips as he buried his nose further into you, inhaling without hesitation. In response, your legs opened slightly underneath him, wrapping them around his broad midsection with a light squeeze.

Preferring the man in front of you opposed to the celebrities on your phone, you dropped it at your side, letting it become lost in the fluffy, unkept sheets next to your form as both your hands wrapped around his head, burying your fingers into his scalp.

A low, animalistic-like growl left his lips as you scratched through his hair, meeting the place behind his ears, where you knew he was most sensitive.

Tracing over the area where his jaw connected to his ear and neck, you let out a low hum in response, tilting your head propped up on one of his pillows to the side, your eyebrows knitting together lightly in curiosity at his pleasant reactions.

“Feels good, bub. Right- mmh. There.”

Your eyes narrowed at his borderline inappropriate hum, and you nodded, wordlessly continuing to scrape through his fluffy, unkept hair.

“I didn’t take you for a cat, Logan,” You teased quietly, a small vibration leaving your own form, similar to that of the buzz of an old stereo.

“Don’t mock me, sweetheart. Can’t help it,”

He shot back, his furry eyebrows knitting together as he finally shifted, pulling himself up further, allowing his face to move from your stomach to your collarbone, trying desperately not to go full deadweight on you, knowing he’d crush your frail form.

“Plus, ever since you got yer nails done-”

He didn’t finish his sentence as you raked through his head of hair once more, pushing his face into the warm skin of your exposed neck, muffling any protest from him.

“Stop talking, James. Sleep.”

You effectively hushed him, a small smile pulling at your face as he grumbled out something along the lines of ‘mm. Whatever,’ and ‘fine.’

You felt him pepper a few hot, open-mouthed kisses along your neck, his teeth teasingly biting down on your exposed shoulder, before lapping at the new mark with his tongue, admiring his work with your taste.

“G’night, bub.”

You smiled at his subtle acceptance to your demand, your fingers frozen in his fluffy hair and partially in his long side shaves, nodding.

“Goodnight, kitty.”

Maybe I’m projecting with this bc of a very scary close call I experienced recently but I just know that COD men would keep their partner safe

John Price, who is traditional not in the nasty toxic ways, but in the manner that he would always walk you home after a date, even if it hadn’t gone well or had been awkward, or maybe something had gone wrong. He would drive you home if he could, because he’s not letting anyone try to snatch you in the streets under the cover of dark. You aren’t comfortable with him taking you home or sharing your address with him? That’s fine, you can call an Uber, just make sure to use the number he gave you to text and assure him that you made it home safe.

Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, who is a gentleman in every way, and would give the nastiest looks to any man who even tried to get a bit too close. No, it’s not because he’s jealous or possessive, he knows you’re your own person and he loves your individuality, he just wants to keep you safe. Will bare his teeth at any man who makes your muscles tense even just slightly. Yes, he will call them out in broad daylight, or keep a hand on his gun and the other near you during the night. You aren’t getting hurt on his watch.

Johnny “Soap” MacTavish, who’s mother and all of his sisters, nieces, and girl cousins taught him just how scary men could unknowingly or purposefully be to women. He would try to keep the mood light, joking and just pulling a bit of laughter out of you at first so he didn’t have to see that glimmer of fear. But if you still felt unsafe with whatever man was lurking or following? He’ll start barking Scottish gibberish that sounds like curses at the person furiously, using the voice he equips when chewing out rookies, one that deters anyone, only to give you puppy eyes after and ask if you’re alright.

Simon “Ghost” Riley, who’s seen his mother be intimidated by his abusive father, watched her get screamed at, beaten, cussed at, and treated terribly almost his entire life before her death. He does not want to see you be intimidated by any man if he can help it. He is a creepy-man deterrent on his own, height and muscle mass usually warding off anyone stupid enough to trail you. But for anyone more persistent? He will stop dead in the street and look straight at them. Once they see the gleam in his big, brown eyes guaranteeing murder and the gun he holds in his hand, your hand in his other hand, they’ll leave the both of you alone for sure.

Gary “Roach” Sanderson, who, despite his mute and mildly anxious nature, will puff his chest out and glare at anyone making you uncomfortable. Will flip them off and pull out a bottle of bear spray, probably shaking the container while looking them dead in the eye. Will not take any bullshit from creepy men trying to scare you, or trying to snatch you.

König, who is an asset on his own, over 6 feet of pure thick muscle and a thin layer of fat. He can get a bit anxious in public like Roach, but if anyone’s making his Schatz uncomfortable? He will kick his German into full gear, harsh voice barking out curses loudly and intimidatingly at the perpetrator who would quickly get the lesson and leave quickly, only to turn back to you and ask if you’re alright, and tell you that he’s sorry if he scared you in the softest, gentlest voice as if he was talking to a little kitten.

• johnny's kisses don't just stop at the lips. when given the opportunity, he'll simply drag them along your bare skin, tasting and appreciating every dip and curve you offer to him. he wants nothing more than constant physical contact, whether it be holding hands or kissing the back of your neck as he spoons you. he goes gomez-style, he'll romantically dip you just for a dramatic neck kiss, he'll squish your face tight and slap a fat, wet kiss onto your puckered mouth, or he'll attack you with a smothered grin, letting his lips linger on your chest for a cheeky moment.

• even as he rocks in and out of you, fingers intertwined during your moments of intimacy, he's transfixed on your pillowy lips as they part to moan his name. he wants to swallow those moans, take in your noises down his own throat and part with a string of saliva, pressing his forehead to yours as he nears his climax. his whimpers are cut off by pecks, murmured compliments and dreamy wishes to spend his life with you.

• johnny's kissed a lot of people, but you? you take the cake. he wants to be connected for as long as you'll let him, until you're both panting and giggling and slightly damp. he's in love with you, and he's got it bad. his favorite thing about you? how you let him kiss you whenever he wants... which is always.

kyle makes sure that the curtains are drawn as much as possible in the bedroom and turns the desk fan on so a gentle breeze oscillates over your sweaty, naked back as you hide your face in the pillow. he moves as quietly as possible as he leaves painkillers and an electrolyte drink on the nightstand. when you flop a hand weakly in his direction with a pitiful groan he presses kisses to your clammy palm and whispers as gently as he can that he'll come back later to check on you. before he leaves he makes sure that your phone is switched off so you aren't disturbed by any vibrations of incoming messages, calls or social media notifications. later, when you're feeling a little better and you can manage to call for him, he'll let you bury your face in his chest and doze lightly to the sounds of your heavy breathing.

john grabs your "migraine kit" and sets everything up for you. he fills a hot water bottle and wraps it in a thin tea towel to pop on your feet, he activates a cold pack and places it on your forehead gently, he lets you wrap one of his super soft t-shirts around your head as a makeshift blindfold and folds it up as gently as possible so your mouth and nose are uncovered. he's learned by now that he can't kiss you until you're feeling much better because the bristles of his facial hair make you whimper in pain but he still rubs a gentle hand over your side.

simon empties out the fridge because he knows the smell of leftovers makes you feel nauseous, even from the bedroom. he makes sure to shower with your unscented body wash and pulls on a clean t-shirt and boxers before joining you in the bed. simon lets you rest his heavy forearm over your eyes knowing that you need the weight and warm of his arm to help alleviate some of the pain. he'll stay as still as possible even as his shoulder starts to ache just a little bit just for you.

johnny will sit with you on the floor of the bathroom after you've thrown up. he'll guide a glass of cool water to your mouth so you can take tiny sips to settle your stomach. johnny will massage your shoulders and neck ever so gently to try to loosen the overly tight muscles just to offer you some relief and press kisses to your sweaty hair. when you slur out something about feeling sticky and gross johnny will pass a damp wash cloth over your neck and arms without complaint before leading you back to the bedroom, where you'll bury yourself under a pile of blankets.

I'm a supporter of more scars on superheroes by the way. Why doesn't Daredevil have scars from the product that blinded him?? Scott should have a burn scar on his arm from the plane crash! What else?? Everyone gets a reminder of their bravery and resilience for free today!
