Attack on Titan

So I just finished watching Attack on Titan and I thought it was good but I don't understand the hype around the show. There were plenty of funny parts where I found myself re-watching the scene over again like when misaka said sasha farted to cover for the noise. I still laugh thinking about it. The show had a great plot and the fight scenes were fantastic. Annie fucked a lot of people up. I guess I only have a few issues with the show. I realized during the episodes around the breach at Trost that I didn't understand everyone's inability to move when they all wanted to live. I am not talking about when they are standing in the crowd before they were told to reclaim the wall but when they were trying to get away from the titans or they were trying to get more gas. Some of them would literally stand and say they wanted to live but not move. Obviously, I have never been faced with a decision like that but if they wanted to live then fuckin' move your ass instead of watching your companions die. Also, Armin needs to nut up or shut up. I am not a huge fan of Eren either. 

Something I really liked about the show, which actually was a really sad moment, was when Levi's team died. Why I liked it? It basically said that no character is safe. I mean even Macro died. That squad was suppose to one of the best and they all still died. 

I know there are a lot of people who loved the show and love the manga but this just my opinion of it. I don't hate the show at all. I actually just started reading the manga. It is an interesting story.
