Okay, so I was looking through the swapmeet tag and realized I was missing a lot of posts, so I have some quick things to say (which will also be added to the guidelines).

1. Please from now on tag me (@sapphanimates) in all attacks. That way I get notified of it, and can reblog.

2. Don't tag character references with the swapmeet tag. It's distracting when trying to search for attacks.

Okay, so people wanted clarification on the art swap thing, so here's a quick list of "guidelines."

Welcome to the Sonic Fankid Swapmeet everyone!

I have no clue how long this thing is gonna last, but hey its a fun challenge so who cares.

1. Choose an artist to attack. It's preferred that they were part of the Showdown beforehand, as people unaware of the event might get confused. Doesn't mean you aren't allowed to, but please be weary. Spectators of the Showdown can attack their favorite participants if they'd like, however.

2. Characters drawn for these attacks should be fankid ocs. Preferably the ones used in the polls, but if the artist has other fankids, they are also fair game.

3. If you are attacked, it is expected you attack back, if only out of respect of the other artist's effort.

4. If you have attacked or been attacked previously, this doesn't prevent you from attacking other people as well. If you've got a ton of artists you want to support, send em attacks! There's no limit on attacks until the event kinda just dies off. After that point it'd be kinda weird to carry on. Unless you like drawing things for people. That's pretty cool of you.

5. Pin all associated posts with #Sonic Fankid Swapmeet

Anyways, any other questions just ask in the comments and i'll make edits to address them.

Oh, and if you are or plan on participating can you let me know? I'll make a list of everyone so it doesn't get messy. (I'm also just gonna plug a @sonic-fankid-showdown here too real quick...)

If you guys want to package swapmeet attacks as artfight ones as well go ahead, but I do expect swapmeet activity to slow up for a while because of Artfight going on.

by the end of the week i'll probably close it down for the season and create an archive blog. might reopen if a showdown 2 happens.
