Actually you know what. Since I brought it up somewhat recently, here's some average + common polyfrag experiences we've experienced and heard about from other polyfrag systems:

Gaining new members really easily or often

Co-fronting most or all of the time

Some headmates taking a very long time to front again after finally switching out, but without going dormant in the time that they're "away"

Complicated system structure; sidesystems, subsystems, layers, structure in general...

Experiencing blurriness or other identity confusion more often compared to other systems

Very expansive innerworlds

Complexity of their system + dissociation meaning that – if they're disordered – their disorder appears more as a crossover or mix of several dissociative disorders than only one (really wish there was more discussion about this one)

It's fine to not relate to typical system narratives as a polyfrag system (or large + complicated system in general); our systems tend to work differently than what's considered an "average" or "typical" system. Really, it's perfectly fine to just be yourself/ves. You don't need to stress about it.

I don't care if you have other friends, I don't care if you do stuff without me, I don't care. I just want to make sure I'm your favourite. I just want to make sure you don't even think about abandoning me. If letting you do whatever will keep you here, I'll oblige.

[End Screenshot] Ok so. 1) The paraphilia community is not "not for" minors. Y'all got paraphilias and y'all deserve to be able to speak about them with people who understand. There are no "minor only" paraphilia communities that they can go to OP. A lot of the time, peers are extremely judgemental and drama loving and toxic. Antis will say you're evil over drawings alone, let alone actual attractions. They aren't invading anything, they are liking and reblogging stuff that comes on the dashboard they've curated for themselves. And I don't think I speak for myself when I say I want to welcome any paraphilic minors into the community. It is not "literally everyone in this community" telling minors to fuck off like you do.

2) No, they can't "wait a few years" to have community and likeminded friends. Being a paraphilic minor is one of the most lonely and scary experiences there is if it's a particularly socially reprehensible one. They should not be condemned to years of isolation because you can't handle a like or a reblog from someone you're barely even interacting with.

3) Just because you hate the argument "Paraphilic content shouldn't be mdni because paraphilic minors exist" doesn't mean the argument isn't correct. You talking like your personal boundaries are the boundaries that should be / or even is the norm, and are wholly uncriticizable in that scenario, is wrong. Were you interacting with paraphilic content as a minor? Were you blocking all those mdni blogs? Were you telling that porn site that you were under 18? It's a fact of life that minors are going to interact with sexual content. Your pearl clutching is weak and will not survive any future winter.

4) I honestly didn't care about this post until I read you trying to say that the paraphilia community wasn't for minors, that they're invading it, that this community didn't want them here. Cuz that's a lie. If you just made this post as a personal "please don't interact it makes me uncomfortable" I would NOT have had such an issue with it, but the way you said all this just irked me hella bad.
