Here's William Jackson Harper as Danny Rebus in The Electric Company (2009)! I used to wonder why Chidi was so familiar—they're played by the same person.
If you haven't watched The Electric Company, I highly recommend checking it out! Danny Rebus is basically a teenage Chidi with superpowers who ended up getting into phonics and grammar.
