hello! i was wondering what sort of tools do you use for your smallest details. do you carve them with hangito or small u/v gouge? may i ask what brand? i really adore your work

Hi, thank you! I mainly use a long handled Kogatana from Hida tools, which has gotten a lot of use. I haven’t used v-gouges for years, mainly because they don’t do that well on wood and for flowing curves, blades are just more control.

do you have a favorite amphibian? :)

No, but the one that crosses my mind the most is Dicamptodon, I go for night walks with a headlamp here and they are so mythic looking when you see them at the entrance of a burrow.
