in fact, I don’t have any super interesting painting technique, everything is done intuitively, and can change from drawing to drawing

first, actually, I will outline the sketch

after that I paint each element on a separate layer, starting with the hair

then I add blush, all sorts of redness, dark circles, highlights and hard shadows. I make them this bluish color, after which I play with the blending modes, choosing the one with which everything looks tastier, setting the transparency level

after that I add soft shadows to the skin tone, also using the blending mode, clean up and set the transparency. sometimes I blur them a little

on the hair I put shadows in the same tone as the hair, I make the highlights with bright light colors in the same color range, and again I play with overlay and transparency. I do the same with clothes, adding hard shadows, soft shadows and so on

in the end I fill the line, add effects and textures
