I’m rewatching old Cockles panels. And I noticed something about Misha. He actually leans into self-depreciative hunor even more then he did before 2016. From 2017 moving forward, it’s actually gotten worse.
Recently, during the Inside of You podcast, Misha was saying how he was aware of this habit and how he’s trying not to do it as much but he still does it. Almost like it’s wired into his system.
It’s especially bad during the NJ con.
WHY does he continually beat on himself? Do not enough people say “I love you” to him, cuz if not they should step it up.
Like the Cockles panel, he chose to tell the punch story, when he could have chosen one that made him feel better about himself :(
He purposely makes himself the punchline to the joke and not in a good way.
