If you're open to hearing what I think Alysanne's flaws are (which I love that she's flawed it makes her feel more real). I think she can be self righteous at times. For example in regards to how she views Catelyn's treatment of Jon. She whole heatedly accepts Jon and persuadés him to stay in the North despite knowing that Catelyn wants him gone. This is not to say that I disagree with her, I also love Jon and don't think he should be punished for Ned's perceived sins, but Alysanne ignores the pain that Jon's existence causes to Catelyn because she believes she is morally right. Or if she doesn't ignore it, the consideration is not enough to truly sway her. The Alysanne/Jon/Catelyn relationship you have written is probably my strongest textual evidence for this, but it's also possible that's I have misinterpreted Alysanne's motivations, so if I have I apologize!

No because you're so right!! Alysanne is def self-righteous, with asking Jon to stay (like you said) and I think especially with letting Arya come west with her regardless of what Catelyn wants.

You haven't misinterpreted at all! Her and Catelyn were always going to butt heads a bit. Also not only is she self-righteous but she's developing this habit of throwing her weight around and "pulling rank" so to speak. I'm excited to explore that more.

Also I'm always open to hearing things like this! Alysanne is intentionally flawed and I'm so glad it's had the desired affect ❤️
