from Hollow Knight I like the Pale King and the White Lady because is such an odd pair, I would have like knowing more of them.

J and A? On a side note, what do you think about the Pale King? I never saw him as the biggest villain out there, but not as a good guy either. Mixed feelings.

Voltron! I caught with it by the end of the second season, when it was good, then it was horrible. Terrible experience 0/10.

About the Pale King.

I actually love him, I don’t excuse his actions, but he is morally grey character.

Yes, he killed his children, but only when his other plans failed*. It was for the sake of thousand of innocent lives that were relying on him. Besides, the amount of eggs in the Abyss show that he thought the chance of one of the vessels surviving the process was slim, and they were meant to not be able to feel physical or emotional pain (even if it was not correct). But that doesn’t mean he or the White Lady didn’t feel guilty about it.

Also I love narratives were “gods” are victims or their own nature. Because despite all his power and knowledge he surrended to his nature as a Wyrm to create and kingdom, but in his road to make it eternal, he realize he was a fool** and he had lost the desire to be king.

Or he was just a coward and an a**hole, and I’m reading too much into it.

* Making the Vessels was not plan A... it was probably C...

Yes! Hornet mentions it during the Hollow Knight Memorial conversation, that’s what makes Ghost different from the other Vessels and allows his shell to break and reform with only one shade.

In Steel Mode Ghost only has one shade, that’s why when you die is Game Over and it wishes your Shade finds peace...

Oh yes! I think that there is so info about Hollow Knight that is so subtle that some people overlooked it, like Ghost having two shades, or that each egg in the Abyss had a bunch of babies inside
