Voltron! I caught with it by the end of the second season, when it was good, then it was horrible. Terrible experience 0/10.

About the Pale King.

I actually love him, I don’t excuse his actions, but he is morally grey character.

Yes, he killed his children, but only when his other plans failed*. It was for the sake of thousand of innocent lives that were relying on him. Besides, the amount of eggs in the Abyss show that he thought the chance of one of the vessels surviving the process was slim, and they were meant to not be able to feel physical or emotional pain (even if it was not correct). But that doesn’t mean he or the White Lady didn’t feel guilty about it.

Also I love narratives were “gods” are victims or their own nature. Because despite all his power and knowledge he surrended to his nature as a Wyrm to create and kingdom, but in his road to make it eternal, he realize he was a fool** and he had lost the desire to be king.

Or he was just a coward and an a**hole, and I’m reading too much into it.

* Making the Vessels was not plan A... it was probably C...

In Hollow Knight?

Ok, so I have a theory on why the White Palace looks like it does...

The one you enconuter in the game, is the real White Palace, but a broken version of the original one, that the Pale King constructed to imprision himself, after all the pain he caused.

Except for the Path of Pain, which explains something else, and is not a training course.

The buzzsaws, spears and thorns were there to keep him in, and he made sure he would not be able to escape by putting his workshop (probably with all his tools) far away from the throne rooms, practically inaccessible, and even leaving the Monarch Wings outside the palace.

Also the switches to open the path to the Throne room open from outside, so is not up to him activate them. All the traps are meant for his retainers that are desperate for his return.

The Path of Pain explains why, he loved the Pure Vessel, but sealing the Randiance was the only option, thousand innocent lives counted on him. But when it was done he couldn’t cope with it. He had sacrifice thousand of his offsprings for this, but after sealing the Radiance he realize, it didn’t matter what happen, he already lost.

Oh man, I was going to say Fullmetal Alchimist since 2004, but then I remember Rurouni Kenshin since 2000/2001 I’m not giving Watsuki any money, but I won’t let him pollute my memories and Legend of Zelda since 1999.

I might not be as active, but I always enjoy the content and do some fanart once in a while.
