Ahhh! The purring thing is so cute! My cat knows when I'm upset or unwell because she'll hover around me and try to climb on top of me to purr and lick my chin.

Anyway, I'm just imagining two big ass vampires purring like kittens. I bet Dracula and Alucard would also 1000% purr against you if you were unwell. Headache? They're nuzzled up alongside you, gently rumbling. Bad day? They'll be sitting with your head against their chest as you vent. They'd be like cats, lol. Cats that could rip a man limb from limb, but still. It would be so sweet.

Dracula is more open with his purring, you’re his beloved and he’s not ashamed of any love he has to give you. Stomach ache? He’s nuzzling close to your stomach just so his purrs rumble, and massage your stomach.

He loves holding you close, and anytime he can he will hold you and start purring.

If you point it out his purrs only grow, as he knows you love it, and will nuzzle his face into your neck and leave rumbling kisses just to make you feel better.

Alucard is much the same, his purrs are at at much lower volume than his father’s but that doesn’t make much of a difference when he’s curled around you, nuzzling his cheek against yours and purring in your ear.

He loves it when you slide in his lap while he’s reading, just to lay against him, it always gets his purrs going. Or you kissing him repeatedly, it has him melting and purring so loudly.

When you’re in pain or just had a bad day he’s instantly wrapped around you, cloak and all, just to make you feel better.

He loves you and hates it when you’re upset in anyway, he wants to make you feel better.

Sometimes, Alucard catches you staring at his teeth. The first time you told him you liked his fangs, he blushed.

You find it adorable the way they’d peek out whenever he’d talk or smile or laugh or kiss.

The way they’d extend when he’d hiss or when he feels threatened (usually when protecting you)… you get reminded just how dangerous your lover truly is. How those fangs can kill and maim. The thought sends shivers down your spine, like you almost can’t believe they weren’t made just for kissing you.

As much as you like his fangs though, Alucard has a habit of trying to hide them when speaking—so much so he sometimes sounds like he’s murmuring.

When he smirks at you, one side of his mouth showing off a fang… you know he knows exactly what he’s doing to you. This man knows how to use them for good. 😏

When he tears open packages, letters, your underwear, with his teeth. 👀

The way goosebumps would pepper your skin whenever he’d graze it with his fangs. The anticipation and danger of knowing he can just bite into you and suck you dry, yet knowing he wouldn’t—that you’re safe—adds to the heat of the moment.

His open-mouthed kisses on your thighs.

When he sucks on your fingertips, grazing them ever so faintly…

When you ride him and he throws his head back with a plea, panting with his mouth half open, those wretched fangs making you want to kiss him so urgently.

You love the way he kisses your lips so softly, gently, as if afraid of accidentally hurting you. And the way it contrasts with those desperate nights when your lips lock with barely any care for drawing blood.

The way he licks at your lips, languidly lapping at little droplets of blood, murmuring his sincere apologies against your mouth. “You taste so sweet, my darling.”

They don’t do it very often, and majority have never heard such things come from either of them.

It’s something they only do when they are truly safe, happy, content, and pleased.

And often do it subconsciously without even realizing it.

Dracula has a very deep low purr, it rumbles loudly and often if you’re on his chest cuddling him, you will shake to the frequency of his purrs.

He sounds more like a content dragon.

Alucard’s purr isn’t as deep, and it’s nearly mute, it’s incredibly soft sounding but it rumbles his chest, and he won’t notice he’s doing it unless you point it out.

He rejects his monstrous side, so if you mention it please ease his worries and tell him how much you love it.

He only purrs when it’s just you two, not wanting others to see him so vulnerable.

But he more purrs in the morning when he wakes up to you.

what the two vampires do have in common is how they will lean towards you, chasing your affection with their purrs for your ears only.

Greedy for your touch, greedy for your love they wish to drown in it all, and can’t help but give their own affection in return.

To cuddle you, to hold you, to kiss you with their purrs only growing in volume.

Since Dracula is a vampire basically dead he’s cold, and Lisa was human making her warm, that Alucard being a mix of the two is anemic and despite being warmer than a vampire, he’s colder than a human and likes to wrap up in his cape cause it’s cozy.

But this also means that when it comes to you he naturally gravitates to you.

When sleeping in bed you two could start off on your own sides, but you’ll always wake up to him curled around you and legs tangled with yours.

But on the flip side, he gets a laugh watching you jump when he surprises you with a cold hand under your shirt.

Or you crying out he’s “too damn cold! Heat thief!”

It brings him such joy to hear it ringing throughout your shared home.

you’re his warmth, his blanket, his warm home to come back to.
