I want to clarify Bones's choice for Fyodor Dostoevsky's peculiar design in the upcoming episode. The reason will shock you bc it's actually a foreshadowing for Fyodor's fate in the current manga arc.

Many interesting comparisons have been made with this one scene, but after studying and searching all day for the answer, i finally saw it. What resambles Fyodor in this keyframe is actually a Kappa - this creature

A Kappa is a mythological japanese creature that lives in the river or other bodies of water. Now, what's interesting is that this Kappa is also referred to as "the water devil" or "the water demon".

We've seen several instances in which Fyodor's been called a "demon" both in manga and anime, and that is of course to reflect his evil nature and his role as the one behind all bad deeds, but what if this also leads to the truth that Fyodor is an actual demon?

Is Bones's design choice a foreshadowing for Fyodor's fate in meursault? Since he looks so much like a Kappa, which is known as a water demon, and Fyodor himself has been called a demon before, i think we ought to expect that he's gonna survive, since he can't drown in his natural habitat.

For now we shall wait and see if Fyodor really has a Kappa shell he is only waiting to come out of.
