·In ep 3, during his song, duck shows that he has rabies

·ducks cant get rabies, but dogs can

·one symptom of rabies is hydrophobia (fear of water)

Maybe ducks death was a combination of lack of water + rabies?

·In ep 5, during the Mulhoven daydream/flashback, Duck is portrayed as Yellow's pet dog.

·During their roadtrip in ep 5, the Grolton and Hovris cartoon, that Yellow and Duck watch, has the man denying his dog water.

·In ep 2, duck claims hes died because he "forgot to drink water"

Theory: maybe Duck really did die from lack of water, but as David/Yellow's pet dog (going off the theories that David = Yellow and the show is some kind of purgatory/afterlife?).

Not as strong of evidence but worth noting: Duck is the one who encounters the Care hound (further associating him with dogs).
