“Klaroline with some classic Brotp!Carenzo”
@lynyrdwrites I’m sorry! So I’m thinking…My Queen and her fool
Thanks for responding. So, right now I’m playing around with a KC role reversal, and in that AU Bonnie/Enzo are Caroline’s version of Klaus’ siblings (only their relationship is, obviously, significantly better). This would be the perfect title for the shoot off of that story that is from Enzo’s POV.
They’re not siblings, or even related, but Enzo and Caroline have been friends since they were children. Bonnie is the third point of their little triad, the witch who created vampires in her quest to protect them from the wolves
Once upon a time, Enzo was in love with Caroline. Or at least he thought he was. With the capital L and everything. But over the years, she grew harder, and he realized that when it came to romance, she only used people. Far better to forever just be her best friend, but to actually matter, than to be just another pawn she manipulated
When Caroline first meets Klaus, Enzo thinks he’s just another pawn. But… Caroline seems to actually be learning about this one. Speaking to him. She’s never cared about her lovers outside of the bedroom and what they might do for her, not since she dreamed of a fairy tale life as a girl. And for the first time in a millennia… Enzo thinks he might see hints of that girl again.
He pushes them together as much as he can after that, with Bonnie’s help. Because Bonnie isn’t quite as sold on this being some grand love story as he is… but she loves Enzo, and she loves Caroline, so she’ll tag along.
There is some angst, because Enzo has moved on from that love… but he would be lying, if he claimed there wasn’t some jealousy. That Klaus is so clearly doing what he failed to do (Bonnie and Kol help him get over that, though).
Send me a fic title, and I’ll give you 5 head canons from the fic I won’t write

Village!KC as kids and mini!Caroline stands up to Mikael when she sees him beating mini!Klaus, and it is that moment klaus knows she’s his future wife
Hey babes! I tagged you in the drabble!
This was on my WIP pile and I have no idea what I was going to do with it or why I was writing it (though I’m fairly sure it involved a discussion with @galvanizedfriend). This is really only funny for Brazilians and this is unfinished, but here’s a random drabble contemplating the biggest linguistic debate of the Brazilian Portuguese language:
PS: Klaus is absolutely correct in this particular case. People from Rio don’t know what they’re talking about :P
XXX
“Ohh, look what I got!” Caroline said excitedly, waving her hands to show the brightly colored packages on her hands — the ones Klaus promptly grimaced at. “Biscoitos!”
He scoffed. “If you are going to eat these atrocious things, at least learn what they’re called, love.”
She frowned, looking down at the sandwich cookies she carried. And then she shook her head. “But this is what they’re called. Look!” She turned it around so that he could read what was written. “Biscoito recheado.”
Klaus rolled his eyes, a trait he had most definitely picked from her. “And since when companies know what they’re talking about? These, my love, are called bolachas. Biscoitos are either salty or baked.”
“Uh, maybe that was how things were the last time you’ve been to Brazil, in the Stone Age. But I’ve been here for two years and I know how things are called, okay? My Portuguese is amazing.”
The corner of his lips twisted into a small smile. “I don’t doubt that. You simply have one incorrect word in your vocabulary. Certainly it’s not too bad for you to admit this?”
He knew that it was and that she never, ever admitted defeat — mostly because she never had to. Since she was always right and she always won.
Caroline only glared at him, and then turned to a human man who just happened to be pushing his cart past them by the beverage aisle.
“Com licença, senhor,” (Excuse me, sir) she said, her accent still very present, even if she had been working on it for a while now. “Eu e meu namorado não somos daqui e estávamos em dúvida sobre qual é o nome disso aqui. Você pode nos ajudar?” (My boyfriend and I are not from here and we were asking ourselves what this is called. Can you help us?)
The man smiled kindly at them. “A gente chama de biscoito aqui.” (We call it biscoito here.)
“I told you we should go to São Paulo. There people know that this is called bolacha,” Klaus insisted, not bothering to switch to Portuguese for the human’s sake.
The man gathered enough from what he was saying (either because he understood English or because he got São Paulo and bolacha, Caroline wasn’t sure) and shook his head. “Os paulistas vão tentar falar que é bolacha, mas não é não, tá? Pode ler ai no pacote, tá escrito biscoito!” (People from São Paulo will try to say it’s called bolacha, but it isn’t, ok? You can read it on the package, it’s written biscoito!)
Klaus looked like he could eat the man.
This is the most important.
This is very important.
