👀 I hope you don't take it in a bad way but I have seen several antis who like sakura and in the series and the manga there are not appropriate relationships being depicted in a show that's meant for the younger audience (like kids?) We have sakura's brother with a teacher, sakura's father being a teacher and falling in love with a student, li and sakura with a strong crush on yukito and finally rika with her teacher (and she is the same age as sakura.) You saw Rurouni Kenshin all around my blog, you either follow me or have been stalking (like that other person who brought up Rivetra) but there's very little of that anime here. I grew up watching that anime as well, literally have the manga, the series in dvd, the OVA, bruh I got posters and special magazines and I only found out about Nobuhiro Watsuki being a pedo until after I joined the Inuyasha fandom here in Tumblr, which was probably a couple of months ago. As far as I know (if not, pls someone correct me) Touya met Kaho when he was in jr high, so I guess he was around 15 and she wasn't a teacher exactly, she was an student teacher so she's in college, I'll guess 19 or 20 at most when they met. That's a big gap right there, she shouldn't have encouraged the relationship, she's the adult and he was only a teen. We are seeing another power imbalance within their relationship, someone with an authority over a minor- which is what we see in SessRin. Fujitaka and Nadeshiko also had a similar thing going on, she's 16 when they get married and him being her teacher. Rika and Terada... in the anime there's only hints but the manga, bruh... Rika literally says he will wait for her to grow older. Power imbalance. I repeat, a person with authority over a minor. You see where I'm going? Yes?

Don't drag Yukito under this hot mess because he managed the whole crush thing with a lot of ease, although it was Yue who took it upon himself to explain to Syaoran what said attraction meant, which was related to the moon's power. Neither Yue/Yukito encouraged this crush. When Sakura confessed, Yukito very calmly talked to her and helped her realize what her feelings meant, how it was similar for loving her father. He never encouraged her, neither gaslighted her- he put a stop to it right there.

SessRin suffers from POWER IMBALANCE, an adult with authority over a minor. A minor said adult rescued and took care of. Sunrise putting up there he fucked her just for the kicks and then had kids with her is disgusting, they're pretty much stating those were his intentions all along.

So do NOT come with accusations about antis having double standards cuz you apparently know little to nothing.
