So I stayed up all Thursday night finishing my final project for illustration and on friday during critiques I blacked out and drew This

Yukine crying out in pain and fear in the center of his swirling righteous net while Trash Dad is screaming at him? My heart. I love that Yato was all, YUKINE IS THE PRIORITY to Kazuma, who’s like *this* close to losing it (again, covered in pit sweat, previously covered in slime, probably still reeking from that time rolling around in the trash can just before the fight….it’s little wonder he lost his temper and changed the incantation so that he *specifically* referenced Yato’s BO and ball sweat orz Kazuma’s not good under stress :P) Yato snapping and calling him “Kazune” was kind of the bitch slap Kazuma needed (and probably why he changed the incantation in the first place). Don’t forget what’s important, stfu and help me save your (shinki) half-brother already! And Kazu’s pissed but he knows Yato’s right, hence the incantation. (ETA - did Kazuma weaponize the slime that covered him earlier when they burst out of that slug’s body? Is that what he did with Yato’s sweat? I mean, his spell was petty af but it makes me wonder if that’s how it actually works.)

Oh man, I really really cannot wait for this arc to be over and for everything to be fine again. The half chapters make the waiting all the more awful. Yukine frightened and alone and at the center of this swirling vortex is such an image….I just want Yato to grab him and hug him. I want Yato to give Yukine a kitten. I want them to go back to Kofuku’s house and have hot pot and udon and I want him to go to sleep at night snuggled in futons and blankets without a night light. I want Daikoku to take him fishing and I want him to hang out with Shiigun and Nana and I want Hiyori to tutor all three of them. I just want a breather chapter and I want this arc to be over :(
