After some time, I think Shadow would trust team sonic to help him babysitting Silver, but only if Amy is on charge, he doesn't trust the other ones alone with his little Star. And Sticks, hurt me to say that Silver probably would be deadly scared of Sticks cuz of the way she talks about aliens and stuff, but I think one day she would be one of his favorites.

Shadow would use his wings as a heavy blankets in cases of Shutdowns, or a place for him and Silver to glow their stripes as a joke, or making patterns of glows to communicate in situations where is dark and they can't talk.

Shadow and Silver Chirping and tweeting to each other actually melts my heart, Shadow always incentives Silver to chirp and tweet everytime he feels he needs to make his little noises cuz Shadow knows how feels like having to hide this part of himself and doesn't want Silver to feel this way. So everytime Silver chirp or tweet Shadow reciprocate whiteout hesitating (Team sonic though it was kinda weird at the beginning, but now they think is actually adorable).

Team Sonic is the ones who need to take Shadow away from Eggman cuz Silver is pretty happy that his father is taking his aggressive feelings on someone who isn't himself, Silver thinks is more health that way. He only stops when Amy points to him that Silver may want some kind of support after this "intense traumatic situation" and Shadow actually let her have that and goes straight for Silver searching forpre bruises.

Eclipse would be the coolest Uncle, Silver loves him, he gives piggy backs, play with him, gives him good things to eat, hugs him everytime he wants and gives anything he asks for. Eclipse also would BATH him in physical and emotional affection when he noticed that he can also do the mental link.

Cream would be a cool big sis and Vanilla the coolest auntie who can bake good things. Honestly Vanilla's support would be one of the main motivations that Shadow stayed with Silver cuz if he felt he wasn't good enough as a parent he would give Silver to someone he thinks would be a better parent.

Shadow looked at this little being, made the same way he was, for the same purpose of being a weapon to be used and when showed to not work the way the creator wanted it will be throwed in the trash, he saw that and immediately took that little hoglet with him.

Shadow knows he's not the best option to take care of a baby, it takes a village to raise a kid and Shadow is just a hedgehog, he's traumatized, has PTSD, frequently disassociates as a coping mechanism, stopped sleeping ages ago and didn't had a proper social interaction since Omega and Rouge. He knows this is a formula for disaster, he knows that there's no way he won't traumatize this kid and that makes him so insecure on the first days, but he made his best, he loves that little hoglet and will make everything he can to make sure he will grown up health and happy!

Little Silver grown up knowing all his father's triggers, how to avoid them and how to act when his dad is having a flashback or a panic attack. Shadow also teached him how to be careful and probably rubbed some paranoia on the kid, but honestly it isn't paranoia if they actually are after you. Silver is a happy kid, but man this kid has some paranoia and trust issues just like his papa, Silver also didn't had a lot of social interactions till some years of life because he and Shadow keep hiding from everyone and Shadow is a little bit overprotective.

The first time he saw Silver using his power to take things he wasn't supposed to take on high places he started to hide anything that could hurt Silver in places not even his telekinesis couldn't reach. The moment Shadow discovered that Silver has the same instinct of ripping off members to run Shadow made sure that Silver never had to do that again.

That was a traumatic experience for both of them and Shadow finally understood why people felt so alarmed everytime he did that.

I like to think that Silver has liiiight cyan stripes that are almost invisible till he make them glow, you have to reeeeally pay attention to see them.

The eye on his head is actually a really cool idea, I like to think Silver was most of the reason that Shadow started to like more his alien features, because now it's something that makes him closer to his son, it also helps that Silver thinks they're really cool.

I think it took a while to Silver warm up to Team Sonic, but seeing they being heroes in distance made him admire them, that's why the moment he lost control of his power and got lost he had gone straight for the first member of Team Sonic he saw and asked for help to find his Dada.

And the Chao and the Eggman part? Fully agree with them. Shadow will kill him... And than kill him again

Imagina Sonic and Amy walking, trying to find Shadow, than suddenly the episode becoming R rated, but they can't find the reason why.

And it's just Shadow, who got his tail stuck and instinctively cut it off.

Oh, when Amy heard that Shadow not only smiled to a kid, but also carried her and happily let her called him uncle she NEEDED to see it herself! It took her a while to find Shadow babysitting Cream, but when she saw him and a little Rabbit making flower crowns in a more isolated part of a park she knew it could be something to make him warm up to the idea of making more friends, so it became a little secret between her and Tails.

Oh, the Chao are soooo happy that Shadow finally have company that aren't them, and the fact that Vanilla and Cream are so lovely and seems to really care about their beloved caretaker influenced a lot in how they interacted with them. Cheese actually claimed themselves as Creams partner in crime and Shadow couldn't deny when they both, Cream and Cheese, come to him asking for please play with them or take them to places.

When they are away of the civilization of the island, normally when they spending time with the Chao, Shadow is often seen napping with them, with his wings of so Cream can hide under them like a big blanket and his head on Vanilla's lap while she brush her fingers on his quills.

Shadow and Cream were playing superheroes and Shadow told her "If you will be a superhero than you need to learn how to fight like one" and started to teach her movements of self defense, and the right way to safely punch someone, always while explaining her the right situations and the responsibility she had to have with not hurting "innocents" with her new knowledge.

Oh, the moment that Cream is hurt Shadow enter on "mama bear mode" and is willing to murder, when Cream or Vanilla are hurt is the moment Eggman and team sonic notice that suddenly the episode it R rated and start to sweat because fuck someone really upseted Shadow and Eggman is the first one Shadow is going after lol.

Shadow Has totally "Spiky guy with a big lovely heart" energy and Cream in one of the proofs.

I didn't saw the last reblog, I was in school so dw lol

Cream saw Shadow once and immediately thought "Cool uncle material" and started to follow him like a duckling, everytime he notices that she's following him, he pick her and carry her back to her mom, but since he doesn't know if she has a problem with velocity he just normally walks. It's in those walks where he started to like her more and more and started accepting that she may actually like him and he may try spend a little bit more time playing with her before giving her back to her mom.

Vanilla was a bit different, the first time Shadow brought Cream for her, she thanked and didn't think too much about him, worried about Cream following a strange, it took a while seeing Shadow bring her daughter back, noticing little things about his behavior and the way he talks to Cream to notice that this is just a case of "Really sweet person who just happened to have a resting bitch face" and started to invite him in to drink or eat something.

Shadow didn't showed them all his Black arms features at once, it was the little things that made them notice that Shadow may not be like the others Hedgehogs. When he extended his tail to hold Cream while carrying a picnic basket and a map for Vanilla, opening some extra eyes when he's distracted with Cream and Vanilla walks in, when asked why his face attend got green when with them and explaining that his blood is green. It was a slow thing but when the two Rabbits proved to him that they wouldn't look differently at him because of that he started to let them appear more.

Once Cream saw that Shadow can glow she made her mom buy her red Christmas lights, the next day Shadow came to visit she was wrapped in red lights and saying that now she's just like uncle Shadow, he almost cried when he saw it.

Cream noticed that Shadow don't eat, but she thought it was only an adult thing, he's not a rabbit like them, so he's a different adult than mom. She heard Vanilla comment that Shadow may not like what she cooks and tell her mom that is not like that, uncle Shadow just don't eat at all! And oooh, a lot of things clicked on Vanilla's head after that.

Shadow teaches Cream by playing because that was how Maria teached him when he was fresh-out-of-tube, it was just little things. Teaching her first aid while playing medics, how to deal with strangers while playing cops etc etc.

Tails was the first one to see Shadow babysitting Cream, he saw Shadow alone and thought he was going to attack him but than Cream appeared holding a big chocolate Donut with red sprinkles, asking him to pick her up and started to talk how "this donut remember you right Uncle Shadow!" And he just gave her a little smile and agreed. When she got distraught eating the donut he quickly looked at Tails with a Glare that promised any kind of pain if he tell this to anyone.

Making Shadow eat at the first time was a Herculean mission, but when they managed to do this Shadow became way more open to the idea of eating.

Shadow would easily pic sonic up, sonic aren't surprised that Shadow can carry him, but he can't deny that being held like that makes funny things with his feelings lol.

Shadow wouldn't be a really good hugger at the beginning, it has been a while since he hugged someone and it's a bit awkward now, but with time he started to warm up for being the one starting the hug.

It's good for him finally be seen as a safe place, that's what he was supposed to be since the start, a protector.

Shadow is a amazing cooker, but he can't bake a shit, Sonic don't have patience to bake and Amy is the only one capable of baking.

But Sonic can and will invade the kitchen while Amy is baking to try stole cookie dough and chocolate and other stuff independent of what Amy is baking.

Everytime Amy wants to bake something to them Shadow have to distract Sonic till she ends, running with him, cuddling, snuggling, anything that can distract him for enough time
