Day 5 - Reunion

In the year 2007, Corroded Coffin is one of the biggest metal bands in the US, sold out headliners across the country, and 'Eddie Munson' is now a household name. He wouldn't exactly say that 'early 40's middle-school gym teachers' are their target audience, but at the last stop of their tour in Chicago, it's no surprise when a familiar face makes his way to the front of the VIP signing after the show. It's less of a surprise when Eddie finds himself in possession of a new phone number and a coffee date next Sunday.

Day 7 - Free Space

Well, we've finally made it to the end of Steddie Week, friends!! Thank you so much to everyone who's liked and shared any of my posts, the organisers of the event, and just the entire Steddie community as a whole.

Its been over 6 years since I was last active in fandom spaces, so to have such a mostly positive reintroduction to the culture has been really heart-warming.

I had so much fun with Steddie Week, and I cannot wait to post more art in the future!!

Day 3 - Mutual Pining

The room is full of people. Loud, animated, conversations overlapping with each other in the expanse of Steve's living room. Despite the noise, despite all the bodies filling the space, all Steve can focus on is the tightness in his chest when his eyes land on the loudest of them all. His ribs ache with this feeling, a pulling sensation like a rope around his heart. It's new. It's confusing. And it feels so right.
