Finally had the time to watch this. I’m surprised that a lot of people think of it as disappointing. I never expected it to go that way but I very much enjoyed so. I always had my suspicions on that one certain person but damn we really got double rolled like that.
The choice of music was excellent. The “walk on the beach” scene at the end is absolutely lovely made. This movie gave me a lot of Midsommar vibes, especially the lunch scene.
This was a simple, nice and enjoyable horror movie. It has some open plot holes that leave enough room to think about those after the movie - so they give you an option to analyze the movie - while you don’t have to since the general story is all explained.
Nice scenery, great music, quite unexpected plot twists, new actors and all in less than a 100 minutes.
