heyyyy so not to be That Guy or anything but since tumblr has completely fucked up gifsets and tagging (what’s new?):
reblogging is most important now more than ever
it contributes to the dashboard ecosystem and it also helps spread art to other people! currently, posts (especially gifsets and other forms of art) are not showing up in tags, including user track tags. many sets are going unnoticed or cannot be found by other users through tags alone.
reblogging helps solve this! by reblogging, you are showing other people the art that might be temporarily hidden by tumblr’s general fuckery. by reblogging something, you are able to get someone’s art onto another person’s dashboard without having to rely on the tumblr tagging system while they (hopefully) try to rectify this issue.
