Found This In My Procreate Files! Funky Experimental Almost Automatic Piece I Drew Last Year While Hanging

Found this in my Procreate files! Funky experimental almost automatic piece I drew last year while hanging out with my buds in California. I had just bought a frikin adorable pair of cat squeaky toys and loved them so much that one became my muse for the evening :]

Edit: thanks for all the notes, guys! I made some edits so that this is easier to read. If you like Bill and spec bio vibes, here's another one I made of some possible psychological instincts a Euclidean might possess. Lots of love :Dc
A study into 90% of Bill's organs
I went so overboard omg but I wanted to try underpainting :Dc See if you can guess what color was the base for each of em! Reasoning for design choices beneath the cut.
Teeth are retractable so as to not puncture the eye when not in use
Lashes are retractable because I couldn't figure out what else to do with them LOL they're pretty thick whiskers and so he'd have some trouble if they stayed in the way, but having them fully retracted would, I imagine, risk them getting stuck or the pores plugging with oil/dirt
Whether or not his tongue is forked varies in canon, just as his blood color does, so I just chose the ones I prefer! I do really like it when people give him blue blood but I think in subtler hues it can make him look a lil nauseous so it's easier for me to work with red
He cleans himself with his tongue because he's a gross little beast and can't just take a shower or something. Ok but really I just thought it was cute what are you a cop leave me alone
Every villain needs to be able to have claws it's like a rule somewhere I think
The second set of eyelids serve to protect the optic nerve but are mainly something I added partially for emoting purposes and partially because of how many times the animators do this thing where his lashes don't follow his lids and it drives me less insane to have a hc about it

"When you're out on your own, a million miles from home Feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders, Don't forget who you are, don't lose your head or your heart I'll bet my life on the stars you'll be dancing on the moon."
Trade with wheat of Ohm and Pareidolia, waltzing together on the moon; a moment frozen in time :]
This is a MASSIVELY detailed piece I've been working on-and-off on for about a month now; make sure to zoom in!

Work? Nah. Anthro jellyfish
This is the most fun I've had drawing in a while! Doing nerdy shit like this is my lifeblood fr. Yeah I know most jellies don't have eyes but some do and that's a good enough excuse for me to slap 'em on everyone
Trying to draw daily so hopefully will be more regular output from me! Can't promise anything though, you know how it is >:P
Hi! I want to preface this by saying that I mean absolutely no disrespect; nothing but support to my fellow artist, your style is unique and valuable and that doesn't go unappreciated!
With that being said, I really do not think this technique should be relied on for beginner artists. The individual parts are there, but with fundamentals it's REALLY important you understand how they're put together; they serve as the basis for everything you draw and getting to know them right can save you a TON of hardship in the future!

It's also worth mentioning that the sad truth is that neither of these techniques are gonna take you only fifteen minutes if you're drawing anything other than a sphere haha, but I really enjoy the process personally! Everything's made out of shapes, so put on a video essay about some game you've never heard of and do your thing, it's therapeutic!
Remember to be careful when it comes to online tutorials and not just take my or any other rando's word for it! I'm not an expert; ideally you'd be learning things like fundamentals from professionals. Marco Bucci and Proko are two of my favorites who provide their super valuable knowledge for free on YT in really digestible ways; they've helped me a lot throughout the years.
And, most of all, remember that there's really no wrong way to draw as long as you're having fun. If you're getting something out of the experience, then you're doing it right!
Happy arting, everybody! ^^

fast rendering tutorial for when you dont want to put in any effort

If I lay here ... would you lie with me and just forget the world?
I was sad one night and wanted to watch something fun and colorful, so I tried Fionna and Cake and really liked it! Adopting Prismo as my surrogate blorbo he is such a pal (everyone's pal, for that matter)
I've been enjoying getting to explore some new fics, which is what this was inspired by (primarily this one), and then it went kinda off-the-rails and got experimental hahaha but that's okay, I was having fun!
