Izuku knows quite everything about you, except what to get you for your own birthday. He weighs out the options, make up? He doesn’t know how to match your shade. Skincare? Doesn’t understand all the acids and whatnot. Books? What if you’ve already read it? So, instead of straight up asking you what you want, he just goes with the safer option

Every girl loves receiving flowers, don’t they? It’s the safer option for sure. So, he travels around Musutafu looking the best quality flowers, oh this would compliment your pretty eyes! Oh, this one is your favourite eyes! Who know buying simple flowers would be difficult? Finally, he finds the most perfect flowers for you. They’re simple, the colours are soft yet memorising and he just knows that you’ll just absolutely love them!

SHOUTO TODOROKI

— AN EXPERIENCE

Shouto would go shopping, or ask your friends for advice on what to get you, however he believes no materialistic object can appropriately dignify his love for you. He decides it’s better to show and give you his love instead of symbolising it. He opens up your contact and messages you ‘Happy birthday y/n, be waiting outside at 5 o’clock’. He doesn’t provide context and leaves you on read.

Shouto’s driver announces their arrival to your residence and his heart flutters. He sees you from the window and he just can’t believe that, you’re his. He cannot stop thinking of all the places he’s gonna show you, all the smiles you guys share and the intimacy of it just being the two of you— if he can even say a word to you with that pretty face.

“‘Hi, y/n. Happy birthday. You look.. great tonight. I wanted to take you around Musutafu so we could go experience and view different places, just you and I.” You accept, he opens the door for you, and you have the best birthday ever.

KATSUKI BAKUGO

— CANDLELIT DINNER

Katsuki isn’t dumb, he knows what you like and what you want, he just isn’t bothered enough to actually get it. So, he does the next big thing, a personal homemade candlelight dinner at home. He says to himself that he doesn’t care, he just wants to do something for your birthday, because, well you guys are dating. He says that while making a list of groceries he needs to buy. He says that while yelling at his local butcher for poorly handled meat. He says that while arguing with his mother that she doesn’t know how to arrange flowers.

He reads the kitchen clock, it’s almost time. The meal is cooked. The candles are lit. He’s wearing his best suit. While waiting, he goes around the whole house, making sure all is in order. Is the meat over seasoned? The vegetables look sort of soggy. Is this sparkling drink good? DING-DONG. You’re here. He answers the door and welcomes you inside. He pulls out a chair for you to sit. For the next four hours, even though it felt like a few minutes, you guys chat away, exchange sentimental thoughts and dig into the delicious meal. Hope you have enough room for dessert!

“Y/n. Come in. Take a seat, don’t touch the fucking food yet, you’re gonna burn yourself! Tch. Is the.. set up, nice?” When you say yes, his palms go all warm, but not from his quirk.
