If you want to be objective, saying 'she should have cooperated' is biased AF.

15 YEAR OLD GIRL WASN’T THE FIRST: OFFICER BEN FIELDS HAS A HISTORY OF TARGETING AND VIOLENTLY ATTACKING MOSTLY BLACK PEOPLE FOR MINOR INFRACTIONS

Students have known about this violent cop, Ben Fields, for years. And if the students knew, then the teachers knew. And unsurprisingly, this school has a high student population of black kids (such violence towards students wouldn’t be tolerated at a posh white school). Cops with histories of violence shouldn’t be allowed to remain cops.

And this seems like a good time to remind everyone that black girls are disproportionately the most targeted group for suspensions and school discipline. Period.

^honestly for real though! All the negative comments I've seen make me wonder if I'm the only one who ever went to school? And had that one disruptive kid that the teacher ignored because at the end of the day, it's better a lesson, more that ONE lesson that's been a little rocky than a lifelong scar, the students were terrified! Look at the way they all sat in their seats frozen!

Didn't anybody else go to school as I said? There are always ALWAYS going to be other ways to handle it than a body slam.

Like, every single person who has attended public school has had peers who didn’t put their phone away or chewed gum in class or “disruptive.” ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE. You know what teachers do? Move the fuck on and finish teaching because you’re a goddamn teacher.
