Stoic Caretaker forcing sleep-deprived and sick Whumpee to get some sleep.

"Mm . . . no. Caretaker m'fine. I have work I need to do-"

"If you don't take a god damn nap, I'm going to shove a bottle of Nyquil down your throat."

straightjackets are so criminally underrated when it comes to whump community and I will always stand by it.

villain or defiant whumpee forced to wear a straightjacket to make sure they can’t hurt anybody, whether it be caretaker or whumper (depends on the situation), and they are so feral they scream and thrash in the garment like a maniac trying to break free.

villain or defiant whumpee forced to wear a straightjacket, but since they’re not muzzled, they threatened everybody. but what no one knows is that whumpee’s trying to still look somewhat intimidating is actually an attempt to hide the fear in their eyes.

a highly dangerous whumpee who, instead of screaming or thrashing or threatening anybody, just sits there in the corner of their cell, restrained by a straightjacket. they seem disturbingly calm and quiet, but even with the straightjacket on, no one really dares to enter their cell.

injured whumpee who just completely gives up they remain unresponsive in their straightjacket, utterly at the mercy of caretaker (or whumper, depends on the situation).

a wounded, poor whumpee who is so out of it that they don’t know they are rescued and are safe with caretaker now. their struggle leaves caretaker no choice but to put them in a straightjacket so that they can’t hurt themself.

or, hear me out, hero caretaker freeing villain whumpee from their straightjacket. hero knows this is risky and is probably a very bad idea, but they still choose to free villain whumpee anyway, because they can see how uncomfortable villain is in the garment, and because villain doesn’t currently pose as a threat to them. could this be a grave mistake on hero’s end? yes. but could this also lead to one of the most delicious slow burn enemies to lovers fic ever written? absolutely yes.

Starving your Whumpees

(Content warnings: Eating disorders, emeto, cannibalism, probably some inaccurate facts.)

Whumpee going hungry for so long that it hurts more to eat than to not. The hollow feeling in their stomach is natural.

Put them on a liquid only diet. They get the nutrients they need to keep going, but eating solid food makes them sick after a while.

Whumpee's bones being visible through their thin purple-tinted skin.

Force them to only eat dog/cat food. If they decline, welp! Guess they're not hungry today.

Whumper not feeding Whumpee anything for a long time or giving them plain food. Out of nowhere, they give them a rich dish. Whumpee can't handle it and vomits, making Whumper call them ungrateful.

Whumpee paranoid that everything they are given to eat is poisoned.

They don't get the nutrients they need because of their diet and grow sick because of it.

Throwing up everything they eat.

Whumpee struggles to feed themself because they aren't used to having access to food.

Fluff:

Caretaker giving Whumpee their favorite food after being starved. Whumpee cries with happiness.

Whumpee eating a sweet for the first time since being kidnapped.

Caretaker making Whumpee some fresh chicken noodle soup until their stomach can digest more complicated things.

Whumpee adopted a therapy cat to help with their other issues. When it's time to feed the cat, that's when Whumpee feeds themself too.

“You need to sleep.”

“Sleep is for the weak.”

“You are weak because you haven’t slept in three days.”

Look all I’m saying is that the ball boys in tennis are the most Whumpee coded thing I have ever seen

They stand a perfect attention completely focused on their task

They’re quiet and non-intrusive

When it’s time to complete their one given task they bolt onto the field, immediately off, and resume the position as quickly as possible

They wear uniforms

They’re not paid

You know that clip of the poor kid that slips and bashes his face into the side? He just stands up with no fucking emotion and no one helps him. He just goes back to his job. Funny yes but also holy shit why did no one check if he was okay.

Why are there like six little whumpees running around every tennis match? Who allowed this? I wanna see them cry lmao
