Update to Schedule: The Search for Civ

Just wanna let yall know, Imma be focusing on fursuit stuff this next week or two, so updates to The Search for Civ may be waiting or just much longer between episodes for a couple weeks. I also intend to do a few more high-quality renders for the next few, which will take more days as well.

I just got a sewing machine and really want to try and get my fursuit stuff made before next weekend so I can attend a furry Halloween party and get ready to attend Aquatifur in early November.

I'll still try and do some asks in the meantime if I have time and my response can be somewhat simple or I just need a break from sewing.

what's ur workout routine

I do a mixture of swimming and weightlifting. I try to do 2 days in a row of weightlifting (leg/ab day and arm/chest day) for 40ish minutes. Then I do swimming days and swim laps for 45 minutes. There's a 4th kind of day called a diving day, where instead of laps I free dive to the bottom of the 11ft pool and grab pool toys with a couple laps thrown in for heart rate increases for about 40 minutes.

During the summer, its a lot more swimming days and fewer weightlifting days just to enjoy the summer sun. Lifting kicks off more in the fall and winter, with swimming days becoming diving days more commonly since there's many lap swimmers but nearly no one uses the deep end of the indoor pool during the winter.

I try to exercise 5 days of the week, with at least 2 being lifting days.

Despite all this, I'm not the strongest nor most athletic guy. I'm a bit on the heavy side (bad diet choices, still working on that), and am in nor way the strongest, but I do have some pretty impressive (at least they are to me) lats and shoulders from swimming and lat pulls, so I got that at least.

The Search for Civ

Having quickly walked the rest of the way out of the Cliffs of Callous Imps, Livic lead me through a mountain pass where we would begin our trek across the Chasm of Chaos.

Jeez, I swear, if I could get my hands on the devil that liked the alliteration a bit too much, I'd reduce him into a spell component and use it to cast a very mundane spell that does next to nothing.

This Chasm was in fact gigantic. Leaving the tunnel through the small mountain, a strange, long bridge extended forward over a gargantuan chasm in the ground, descending so far that only darkness was visible below.

"So, this is the Chasm?" I asked Livic, swallowing a small lump that had formed in my throat.

"Yep! A 3 mile long bridge over an abyss!" Livic said somehow with glee.

"You said something about a Khorne? Who is that? I don't recognize the name," I asked, tentatively stepping forward as the ground beside the bridge turned away into the darkness.

"Of course you wouldn't know him. He's not one of your demons or devils," Livic explained, "He tends to terrorize a different sector of the universe where he's typically called a Blood God."

"So why doesn't he terrorize here? Here, relatively speaking," I asked.

"Powerful devils and demons kinda have territories in the mortal plane and homes in the Hells. Only Asmodeus is allowed to go where he pleases since he owns the Hells," Livic continued, "If you aren't super powerful, though, you don't really get territory, which means you can kinda go wherever you want so long as you don't piss the ruler off and get killed."

"Hell is a lot more complex than I would've though," I stated, "Do we have to worry about this Khorne then?"

"Probably not. He's probably out doing Blood God stuff," Livic said, "The chasm is just an easy way to where he lives, the Realm of Chaos, so if you're unlucky, he might shake the bridge and drag you down to his realm, where you either fight or die."

Looking down into the darkness, I prayed to the gods I refuted many years ago for safety, though I doubted even they could help me from this Hellish place.

Hehe, there they are: the Circle Gates to the Lust Circle.

Oh what lovely things will i find? Maybe a harem of succubi grovelling for me? Maybe a strongest incubus to worship? Both? I'm defintely ready to wow them with my 'skills' hehe.

They are going to love me. I'm a sexual god, and we'll make sure all the Hells know it. I'm probably gonna have so much fun, I'll have to rush back before Lye wakes up and discovers herself abandoned.

The Search for Civ

What a relief it was to finally get across that massive bridge. I couldn't stand the feeling of the giant abyss below starring back at me the entire time.

The bridge led into a mountain tunnel, where after a few minutes traversing the strange brick structure, deposited Livic and I into another, near-same desert of red rock and mountains.

"Congrats!" Livic said with wide arms and winning tone, "Another hurdle passed and your first day in Hell survived!"

I looked to the red sky above. While there wasn't a 'sun' in the normal sense, the sky did seem to be getting darker, like some form of hellish night-time was beginning.

"Come on! There's a spot up here that we can make camp at," Livic said pointing forward.

"Isn't camping out in the open dangerous?" I asked Livic.

"Kinda, but I bet you already have a spell to fix that," he said matter-of-factly.

Damn it. I hate his smuggness sometimes.

"Well, yeah," I responded, pulling out a small glass bead, "I can set something up."

A few minutes and a ritual later, and I raised my hands and staff up, turning the small bead into a large bubble of energy.

"There, only visible to us and provides invisibility to anything inside," I said to Livic, "A very safe place to camp out."

"Well, except to powerful devils who can see through illusion magic, but what're the odds of that?" Livic said smugly, entering into the bubble.

The next half hour was strangely silent except for the noises I made preparing for the night. Small created snacks from spells, a few sleeping bags, and a minor alarm spell for alerting me if anything got too close were my before-bed preparations, but even these didn't particularly make me feel like I would sleep well.

Even though I don't trust Livic still, I did try and offer him some of my provisions. He passed on the food, but he did accept a sleeping bag to lay on. As soon as I handed it to him, he rolled it out, and to my dismay, took off all his clothes in a flash of red devil magic, before laying down on it. For a moment, it was almost cute as he seemed to curl his tail and wings around himself, which I tried to keep in mind instead of his blatant lack of manners.

I laid out on mine and casted a silence spell on myself to let me sleep despite any strange devil noises that would disturb me. The alarm spell would wake me in a bad situation, and I had set an extra security to wake me if Livic stepped within 5ft of me just in case. The alarm spell hadn't failed me before so I took the silence as a comfort to fall alseep, missing my bed at home already.

Now that Lye's asleep, I can go have some fun...

Lye didn't want to go to the Circle Gates, but I'm bored and don't need to sleep. I'm gonna go have me some fun. I haven't had a chance to try out this new body yet so let's change that. Fuck whatever that cat has to say, I'm a devil in my home plane, so she can't tell me what to do.
