No, You Cant Deny Women Their Basic Rights And Pretend Its About Your Religious Freedom. If You Dont
No, you can’t deny women their basic rights and pretend it’s about your ‘religious freedom.’ If you don’t like birth control, don’t use it. Religious freedom doesn’t mean you can force others to live by your own beliefs.

Example on the coloured sketch you can win
He was alive. Her brother was alive. Walking, talking, smirking, living.
It was a load off her mind that she hadn’t even understood the full weight of, like taking off a coat and finding the pockets were actually full of bricks and you hadn’t noticed. Key never wanted to pick it up again.
The talked and drank and she introduced him to Rik. The two men got on well, or at least didn’t seem likely to kill one another. Key counted that as a plus. Lock had been held captive, and even if he was reluctant to use the word ‘kidnapped,’ she wasn’t. She wanted vengeance against the ones who had held her twin, but it was a soft sort of vengeance, something she could get worked up about later. When there wasn’t whiskey to drown herself in and a brother to dote on and tease and steal from (it was only a -little- toolkit!) and a friend who had been with her and done more than his share of helping her get to this moment. Too many good things to spoil with anger.
The only moment of tension came at the end of the night, when Rik asked if she was going to settle in and help her brother with putting the family business back together. It felt like the whiskey turned to ice in her stomach. Then Lock looked at her expectantly.
Key made light of it, finished off another shot of whiskey, and claimed drunkenness. She let Rik take her to an inn outside the ‘Reach for the night and once the door was locked, Key sat on her bed, stomach in uncomfortable knots.
Sure, she could stay. That had always been the plan, right? Find Lock, put the family business back together, do what she’d always done. Easy!
But now...there was so much else out there. Things to do and explore. She and Rik had been having fun in Orr, and despite the harsh environment and the smell (waterlogged dead things gave off an aroma that was worse than the beach of Lion’s Arch at low tide), she had been having fun. And the Zephyrites. She couldn’t forget the trip to the Sanctum.
Did she just drop everything and leave that? Key didn’t know. And it wasn’t easy thinking with her head fuzzy from five shots of whiskey in under an hour.
So she climbed out the window of her room, swung her way to the hard-packed path below, and headed to the river. She took off her coat and boots, unslung the skirt from around her hips, and waded into the chilly water. Then sat down abruptly when she found a slick rock. She howled in pain and indignation at the sudden soaking, but it did what she’d hoped: cleared her head.
Shivering in her underclothes, she sat there in the middle of the river in the dark of night and tried to figure out what to do. If she went with Lock, she didn’t know how much she’d be able to do things on her own. And she had liked her newfound freedom. But if she didn’t, then why was she searching for him in the first place? Just to know where he was? To know that he was alive?
She and Rik had danced around the issue while they were at the Sanctum. She loved her family, but she wanted to be her own person. But she still needed the security to know that they were there, any time she needed them. Despite not knowing where Ally or their Momma was, Key felt relieved that Lock was found. Momma would always take care of herself and Ally would find someone to take care of her one way or another. Now she had Lock and Ferk back.
Teeth chattering, Key climbed out of the water and settled on the grass to dry out a bit. She pulled a dagger from her boot to toy with in case anyone mistakenly thought she was an easy mark. She needed to talk to Lock again. And to Rik. Then she could work things out.
It would be a hell of a bad thing to find her family and lose herself.
