Natalie has done a lot wrong in her life, but you gotta respect how she was on the brink of death and could barely stand, but grabbed a freaking crossbow to murder her boss/ex-crush. Then she nearly/actually dies, but she wakes up perfectly healthy for reasons she doesn’t yet understand, and her first thought is: “I gotta murder my boss again.”

The thing about writing Harry/Gabriel is you have to acknowledge the reality of the fact that it is Clown on Clown action. The red nose in the room being that of the two of them, Harry is more emotionally stable and rather more inclined to introspection.

And Gabriel doesn’t even have an egg.

There is also Nathalie. Who. Appreciates the fact thar Harry will just straight up go "that was absolutely deranged when was the last time you ate" and then suddenly Gabriel is eating a meal like he always eats and not just when his body reminds him that it will absolutely crash and burn if he doesn't choke down some sustenance right now this very instant.

Harry is a decent clown, and while that means being funny, it also means he has to have the emotional intelligence for a good joke. Emotional intelligence being one of the things Gabi gave up for the monkey paw wish to be posh making that even funnier.

Anyway I have never considered this pairing before and now I want to write the crazy poly reality of living in a tiny rathole apartment while you all try to make your dreams a reality and the actual insane ones are Not the Clown.
