anyway, i think he brought home an infected model (doesn’t necessarily matter what) and it kinda just leaked into his “universe” so to speak since the elevator is like. Interdimensional.

later after he has the infected item, it spreads to various other objects but its not visible to the naked eye. It just looks like normal items

Anyway hes like skateboaridng or something and he FUCKS UP a trick because he SUCKS and eats shit and dies, scraping up his arm on an infected item which essentially introduced the virus/parasite to his blood stream etc etc

i think the way this virus/parasite however you wanna call it works is that it travels between inanimate objects very easily. in real life some type of viruses/parasites seeks out specific hosts, it can infect other things But it doesnt work too well

In kaspers case living things are not really supposed to be infected with it

So kasper gets infected with it, a mix of he doesnt take care of himself and just sheer bad luck

and instead of the infection being chill and unnoticed it messes him up pretty bad, i.e making him GROSS and forget his name and presenting itself as an actual sickness type thing, hes practically like a zombie, like infected is weird gross kinda stupid refuses help and his life SUCKS because of the virus but donttell him that he’ll shut it down

I got a whole lotta head canons on how it works for him, but yea its not too good his life lowkey sucks™ but the infection kinda makes him really stupid/neglectful so he doesnt notice it or is convinced its fine hence the not gettinng any help ever

But yea the infection, when going through inanimate objects, is actually super unnoticeable IMO, like you wouldnt even know something is infected with it. Kinda like infested stone in minecraft, it looks normal but it is full of THINGS ewww!!!

But when it infected kasper it kinda went apeshit, which is why i think he keeps infecting things around him, kinda like a mutated variant of the normal thing

Idk im trying to apply real viral bacteria behaviors to a thhing that is literally just a gmod error i just pull from whatever i know on this kinda stuff
