In the years you’ve been with your favorite baseball player, it was very clear to you that away games were never your favorite.

In his initial years of his time in the Big Leagues, you found your shared home to be much roomier than you preferred and the bed much colder. And when you did come out to see him, being among “enemy” fans was an uncomfortable experience – especially considering some fans were quite brutal when seeing a rival jersey. But as the years went by and Chris made his presence in the league known, the away games became more bearable and traveling with him became more favorable than cheering him on in the comfort of your own home.

So, in his 5th season in the MLB, you proudly wore his number at Yankee Stadium and cheered him on when he was on deck, stretching and swinging his bat. He scanned the crowd quickly and found you – the one Red Sox jersey, drowning in the sea of white Yankees ones.
