Something I just posted on my IG, here's too🤙🏼

Once I start online work, I think I'm going to stop taking commission orders so often, if at all.

Since developing chronic fatigue (unknown origin) I just don't have the time to juggle a lot on my plate. I'm unsure what I'd do beyond then. I don't like how Twitter is run. I may return to Tumblr in full force. My art takes hours to produce and charging under a hundred just doesn't cut it. I cannot explore my style and branch out when I adhere to a commission's specific expectations. My art is always evolving and I feel limited when an order comes in with certain expectations. And as my style evolves, the time to produce these pieces far outgrows what I charge for them. I know there is a limit to what people can afford, but there's a certain limit to what I'm willing to do for under 100$. I don't know what's wrong with my physical health. It's been on a down spiral since 2015. I had an adverse reaction to Zoloft and ever since then, if I overexert, I start to have a syncope reaction. If I get too hot, I feel like I might pass out. I don't know what it is. It's just there. Regardless, I only have so much time, and once I start a full-time job, I think I will greatly reduce what work I'm willing to do. I may take art trades to keep my activity up, otherwise, I'm going to put myself first.

I'm glad to be back on this site but holy hell tumblr take care of the bot accounts!!! It's just as bad as when I left, if not worse.

:D ok! i’ve updated the Sonic character anatomy, this is basic though but i really hope is easy to understand (because i’ think i’m not good enough explaining things with words lol) and it results useful to anyone who might need it ^_^  

just some other tips to improve:

try drawing comics! on comics you have to try new poses, angles and expressions.. is reaally helpful to improve your drawing skills!

look at official art for reference

listen to cool music! XD it always helps to get inspired hehe

Do you have any advice on drawing facial expressions?? I’m autistic and I have a really hard time with them.

Howdy again, and sorry for the delay! Not sure how well some of this advice would translate into different styles, this is just what works for me.

Expressions are hard! There's a lot of nuisance and subtle differences between them, and a lot of different expressions share similar features. Ya just have to play around with them.

There are a lot more things that can all help convey emotion, that aren't just limited to the face, like posing and angling, but I focused solely on expressions, here.
