At the risk of sounding like a fucking boomer,

Can I just say I miss that feeling of waking up on a Saturday morning and going to the tv to watch the latest episode of some episodic tv show or staying up late on a Friday/Saturday Night, which ever it was, to watch the new installment of my favorite episodic localized anime that I’ve been pining for for an entire week, just to find out what happens next in the series.

there was something delicious about the wait, the tension of finding out what happens in the next episode. Getting so absorbed into a show that you feel like screaming the moment you hear the “Next Time On:____!”

The sitting around with your friends at recess and theorizing what happens next, talking about your favorite parts of the episode you all just saw. Having all these shows drop these seasons all at one time is nice, but it feels like it just takes away something. Something we technically can still have.

Anime technically still do it on Crunchyroll/Vrv. I think that’s why I love watching RWBY so much. It’s that intense feeling I get waiting for the next episode, groaning at every cliffhanger, agonizing over what happens next.

It would feel nice to get that again. To get that feeling of having something to look forward too every weekend.
