-Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa:

Olympia—not because she doesn’t know the way it’s supposed to open, but because she tried it that way first, and it felt stuck, so she tried it the other way. Which didn’t work either. She’s convinced it’s the same science that requires you to flip over the end of a phone charger three times before you can plug it into your phone. (Otis always gets absolutely anything like this right on the first try, which simultaneously annoys and impresses her to no end.)

-Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them:

(probably neither canonically bUT) When she’s exhausted all regular work that even possibly needs done, Olympia likes to doodle. And sometimes daydream. At the same time. Which really isn’t a good combination for keeping things inside your head. (Otis may have done it once too by accident and promptly panicked before quickly and frantically erasing it, then looking around very non-suspiciously to make sure nobody saw. Only Ocean did, and even he shook his head and facepalmed. Which is saying something.)

-Who starts the tickle fights:

Definitely Olympia. There have to be cons to being a serious, smart agent who is also incredibly ticklish, after all.

-Who starts the pillow fights:

Otis. I mean, he’s gotta defend himself somehow, right?

-Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile:

don’t try to tell me it wouldn’t be Otis JUST BECAUSE OLYMPIA TALKS ABOUT HER FAVORITE THINGS IN HER SLEEP AND IT’S JUST HARD NOT TO SMILE AT IT OKAY. that’s all. no other reasons required.

-Who mistakes salt for sugar:

Otis. Every. single. time. And he gets really embarrassed about it—so instead of admitting he made such a terrible, silly mistake, he just puts on a brave face and eats whatever he’d put it on as if nothing at all had happened. (Though at this point, he politely refuses to use anything that looks like either salt or sugar…)

-Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning:

Olympia’d be sleepy enough she’d just let it play and not really notice it, and Otis would be the one frantically hitting buttons trying to get it to shut off (though the fact that microwaves beep every time you push a button and enjoy turning on when you don’t want them to doesn’t really help).

-Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines:

Olympia likes coming up with super silly ways to compliment her partner (who, for the record, does a very good job of not exactly smiling), but Otis is the one who once in a blue moon comes up with the really clever ones that take you a minute to think about before you go “OHHHH”, so it’s kind of a draw. But both of them are total cheeseballs though.

-Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order:

Olympia, ever the super organized one, has long since put every book on every bookshelf she’s come across in alphabetical order. Otis hasn’t noticed yet, so whenever he puts a book back in the wrong spot, Olympia gears up to go on a Top Secret Mission™ to put it back later.

-Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies:

Olympia. Otis gets the bowl. (They don’t usually have a spatula, which results in a lot of batter getting left in the bowl, and he’s the one who doesn’t get hyper after eating large amounts of chocolate.) (Well… not very hyper, anyways.)

-Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion:

Well, Olympia likes candles as much as the next person, but Otis (being an agent of many tastes) likes both hand-making and collecting them. Under guise of emergency preparedness, of course. Olympia didn’t buy this and just told him he’s very strange.

-Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen:

(probably neither?) Olympia draws notes on her hands all the time though and occasionally borrows Otis when she runs out of room. He usually blinks in utter bewilderment and asks why she doesn’t just go find some more paper. (She quickly shushes him so she can continue to concentrate on her notetaking, mumbling something about only having notepads that are big and floppy and needing something handier.)

(It takes Otis all of seven seconds before he takes his hand back because he needs it to facepalm.)

-Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation:

Prrrobably both of them? For their respective collections. Olympia collects her favorites of the glittery and/or 3D variety, while Otis likes collecting the little rectangular license plate ones. Especially if they have little area-specific slogans on them. Olympia will also get cool but ultimately pointless souvenir magnets from Wal-Mart if you give her the chance. *Mrs. Incredible voice* “Do not give her that chance.”

-Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines:

Olympia, but only after she scribbles through ‘couple’ and writes ‘partner’ underneath it with a big black sharpie. Otis reluctantly goes along with it, but mostly just because there’s apparently some prize for filling it out that consists of amusement park tickets, and Olympia is so super determined to win tickets to something through a contest eventually that she’s very intense about it. Though he did happen to notice that it was an old magazine and the final day for entering was six months ago.
