the great thing about straight characters is that bc the author assumes that straight is the default, usually their sexuality isn't defined, so acc it's so easy to hc straight ppl as bi bc the author never specified. But usually when there's an LGBT character the author, like, defines their sexuality (like with Nico being gay) so I just don't get why ppl choose to hc him as bi where there are literally all those assumed-to-be-straight-but-actually-undefined-and-open-to-interpretation-characters right there
