Different Stories Resonate with Different People

There has been a massive increase in the amount of hate and ableism towards people with tourettes that is accepted.

It is now considered socially acceptable and seen as ok to mock, "fake claim," and insult people with tourettes. It is seen as ok to harm us, even by other disabled people.

I have had people close to me make a mockery of my disability. People who have said to my face they think tics are cute or said I looked weird. People who have mocked my tics in front of me. People who have made it clear that my struggles are a joke to them.

Tourettes is a real disability. A scary, dangerous disability to live with. Tourettes has hurt people. Tourettes has killed people.

It is not just saying inappropriate words and giggling about it afterwards. I've gotten bruises from tic attacks. I've spent nights laying in bed, with my head surrounded by pillows, unable to do anything other than accept that I'm gonna get hurt and wait for it to be over.

Tourettes is not cute. It's not fun. It's not something to mock.

It is traumatic. It is painful. It is debilitating.

Please, treat it that way.

Stop partaking in minimizing how serious this disability is. Stop allowing people to bully those with tourettes and mock the disability. Stop fake claiming or asking for "proof" that someone is suffering.

This shouldn't be seen as ok. This shouldn't be so commonly accepted.

The seven Chaos Emeralds in Sonic Runners
Various members of the beryl family on a black background, including Heliodor, Aquamarine, Morganite, Bixbite and Emerald, they're all mostly uncut and in hexogonal pillar shapes.

Although named the "Chaos Emeralds," only the green-colored one and the Master Emerald fit this exact description, as an "emerald" is simply a green form of beryl. However, the rest of the Emeralds are almost exactly the other colors of beryl varieties, making them all the same type of gem regardless.

These variations include:

"Golden" Chaos Emerald (Can be yellow or a golden yellow, but never fully orange)
Heliodor

Heliodor:

"The golden color is produced when iron replaces some of the aluminum in the crystal structure. Heliodor can contain trace amounts of uranium, making it slightly radioactive." [X] "Because of the stone's unusually vibrant yellow color, it was given the name heliodor, from the Greek words helios and doron, meaning, gift from the sun." "Heliodor has been called the stone of the gods and the gateway to light. The warm yellow color of the stone has been said to enhance the wearer's intuition and compassion." [X]

Red Chaos Emerald
Bixbite (These Gems can also appear a red-hot Pink, closer to some colors in the Phantom Ruby or it's copies)

Bixbite:

""Bixbite (or "red beryl") is the allochromatic orange-red to purplish-red variety of beryl which owes its color to manganese (Mn) impurities." "Locations where this rare mineral is found include Utah and New Mexico, USA." [X] "Bixbite is a symbol of action and physical vitality." [X]

"Light Blue" Chaos Emerald (Can be closer to Seafoam/Turqouise/Aquamarine colored depending on the appearance)
A light blue aquamarine

Aquamarine:

"Aquamarine is a pastel greenish-blue variety of the mineral beryl and owes its color to the presence of iron impurities. Its name is derived from the Latin words for water (aqua) and sea (marine). Crystals form in large hexagonal prisms. In ancient times, it was believed that sailors wearing aquamarine pendants would be protected from the perils of the sea. The stone symbolized happiness and eternal youth. It was viewed in Christian symbolism to bring moderation and control of passions to its owner." [X]

Dark Blue Chaos Emerald
Maxixe

Maxixe:

Maxixe (pronounced Mah-she-she) is the almost-sapphire color variety of beryl. Maxixe owes it's very unstable color due to natural irradiation that causes a color center most probably in the NO3 sites. When exposed to sunlight or temperatures above 100° C, it will rapidly lose its color. Color can be restored by irradiation (gamma, x-ray or neutron) and annealing. As of around 1970, some dark-blue beryls started appearing on the market again and research showed that the color was also due to irradiation (artificial), but the color center in this case proved to be in the CO3 sites. This new type was named "Maxixe-type" beryl and, like Maxixe, it is a very unstable color. The original color of these beryls was yellow or green. [X] As for the maxixe gem meaning, empowerment and confidence are two of the biggest traits associated with the stone. [X]

White/Silver Chaos Emerald
Goshenite

Goshenite: (Chaos Emerald Icon Edited)

Goshenite, also known as white beryl, is the colorless to near-colorless variety of beryl. If rocks containing goshenite are exposed by erosion and weathering, the exceptional hardness of goshenite (7.5 to 8 on the Mohs hardness scale), along with its resistance to weathering, will enable it to persist in overlying soils and stream sediments. Much gem-quality goshenite is found as waterworn pebbles in stream sediments. Its presence there suggests that a primary deposit is located upstream. [X] Called the mother of crystals, beautiful, colorless Goshenite is the purest of the Beryls, a feminine crystal of the moon and angels, associated with motherhood. [X]

Purple Chaos Emerald
Johnkoivulaite

Johnkoivulaite:

Johnkoivulaite, a mineral that changes from deep violet to near colorless when viewed with polarized light, is the newest member of the beryl family. The GIA reported that johnkoivulaite has a hardness of 7.5 on the Mohs scale and a hexagonal crystal structure that is very similar to beryl and other members of the beryl group. But, what makes the mineral especially unique is the way it changes from a deep violet to near colorless when subjected to polarized light. This optical phenomenon is called pleochroism. [X]

This Chaos Emerald is an interesting case, as Johnkoivulaite was only discovered September 2019. [X] Because of this, there is no meaning or aspects yet assigned to it.

An edited Pink Chaos Emerald
Morganite

Morganite: (Chaos Emerald Icon Edited)

Morganite is the pink, peach or lilac variety of the mineral beryl. It is a beryllium aluminum silicate colored with a trace amount of manganese. [X] Morganite’s subtle color is caused by traces of manganese. Because morganite has distinct pleochroism—pale pink and a deeper bluish pink—it’s necessary to orient the rough carefully for fashioning. Strong color in morganite is rare, and gems usually have to be large to achieve the finest color. [X] With its soft pinkish hue, morganite is often associated with innocence, sweetness, romance and love.. [X]

The morganite is included because on multiple occasions there has been a specifically pink Chaos Emerald. This includes the original Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992), and Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (2010). In Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 4, a hot pink Chaos Emerald replaced the purple Chaos Emerald. In Sonic the Hedgehog 2, a light pink Chaos Emerald replaces the dark blue Chaos Emerald.

Magenta/Pink Chaos Emerald from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992)

Two hot pink emeralds appear in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (2008), changed to the same color after the Voxai imbued them with psychic energy.

Hot Pink Chaos Emerald from Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood (2008)

(Bixbite can also appear deep hot pink as well, but since the red Chaos Emerald is always also there when the pink one is present, Morganite also applies.)

The family also includes "Green Beryl..."

Green Beyrl
Green Beyrl
Green Beyrl

""Green Beryl" is the name given to light green beryls that do not have tone and saturation dark enough to be classified as “emerald.” These pale green beryls are colored by iron or chromium, with their color ranging from pale yellow-green to pale mint green." [X]

...and the "Trapiche Emerald"

Trapiche Emerald
Trapiche Emerald, round cut
Trapiche Emerald, partially raw, partially cut

Trapiche emerald gems are some of the world's rarest emeralds. During the formation of an emerald crystal, black carbon impurities may enter the gemstone mix. Because of emerald's hexagonal crystal structure, these impurities may fill in at the crystal junctions, forming a six-point radial pattern. In some trapiche emeralds, inclusions of albite, quartz, carbonaceous materials, or lutite may outline the hexagonal emerald core. From there, they extend in spokes that divide the surrounding emerald material into six trapezoidal sectors. [X]

Seemingly, neither of these have been represented by a Chaos Emerald form.
