Fallen Hero fan zine 2024 interest check!
So uuuuh not to be a freak who plans far too many projects, but, would anyone be interested in a fan zine for Fallen Hero?
I've looked around but haven't found any ongoing projects and would love to start one if there's enough interest.
I don't have much experience organizing fandom things (at least not any zines) so if 1 or 2 people would like to help I'd very much appreciate it!
I'm thinking that each contributer would get 2 pages to do what they want with, be it art, writing, a very short comic, a collage or the like. We could do it with a theme or very free, TBD later on.
If there's enough interest I really think we could make it into something fun! Just let me know if you would like to contribute or help organize, or both!

Her husband got killed by werewolves, so now she hunts werewolves.
Character design project for my portfolio. I was inspired by brittish fox hunting especially.

Game Night (2018):
Thanks to @pinkbatman on Twitter for this one. They say:
there’s a pretty elaborate one in Game Night (2018) that one of the characters uses to manipulate his friends into taking a very specific course of action. It’s the basis for a rather unique ending credits sequence.

gale gazing upon his one true love (giant chess board)

based on a post that screenshotted his very sweet excited chess face. what a nerd 🥺
just wanted 2 say that I tend to go back and reread cute tags when I feel bad about my own art a lot so… just wanted to say thank u to everyone that leaves tags on artists‘ works, it means a lot❤️
One of my favourite Gale moments so far is a tiny one. It's when he helps Mol win the lanceboard game against Raphael. Partly, it's the delivery - that fond and conspiratorial tone, the feel of 'adult getting on the kid's level and on their side' that's in his voice- but it's also exactly how he does it.
Gale is clearly capable of seeing how to win in a glance - even if you fail the check to work out a strategy, you can still help Mol win just by having Gale in the party. But for all Gale makes self-deprecating comments about how he flaunts his own knowledge and shows off... he doesn't do that. He doesn't announce the winning strategy or tell Mol what to do. He points out which piece is vulnerable, but leaves the moves up to her.
And for Mol, specifically, that's exactly the right approach, because she is so fiercely self-reliant, so prickly about accepting help. Gale helps her in a way that won't make her feel patronised, that still makes her feel in control and smart and capable, makes her feel like the person she presents herself to be. It's so sensitive to this specific kid's feelings! It's so gentle and respectful and so totally confident in Mol's own intelligence!
I sometimes need to remind myself that yes, obviously the charming nerd has Arcana and Persuasion proficiency, but he's also proficient in Insight. He's good at reading people! He's attentive! He's thoughtful and he pays attention! Now if only he could turn that same understanding of people's needs on himself sometimes...
