postponed feminism today to post this sasuke

this year truly taught me the meaning of the phrase الغنى الفاحش - "obscene wealth". there are people starving to death in ghazza and sudan and yemen. the internet is plastered with gofundmes for people just trying to survive. and yet at the same time i turn on the TV and saudi is awarding some singer or actor who is already wealthy bricks of solid gold like. i always knew this dissonance existed but this is so jarring. any one of these people could easily pay off the entire gofundmes of several, if not all, of the people of ghazza and sudan. life changing amounts of money. it's just obscene to me. obscene and bewildering.
