That is....something of a controversial question lmao, some people take it waay too seriously. In game, he says he doesn't consider himself father material when the player talks about 'adding a third' to the relationship. But also, in the game he's shown to be pretty good with kids, so its kinda up to interpretation. Like he might just have some character development if you wanted to interpret it that way. Whatever floats ya boat.

But he 100% has cat dad energy.

Tara has mum energy but only towards Gale as she is still a cat and she has 1(one) human. (Gale's mum Morena counts as a fellow cat though)

Question for BG3 players: from what I’ve seen on Tumblr and AO3, Gale seems to have some dad energy. Is this accurate? Is Gale dad material? (I’m already sure that Tara is mum material).

Thats a pretty fair assessment I would say.

My favourite thing about Morena though is that after the game she and Tara have tea and gossip sessions with the god of the dead (unknown if they know he's the god of the dead though)

Question for BG3 players: from what I’ve seen on Tumblr and AO3, Gale seems to have some dad energy. Is this accurate? Is Gale dad material? (I’m already sure that Tara is mum material).

The whole “scientists use big words on purpose to be exclusive” is such a bunch of anti-intellectual bullshit. Specific and concise language exists for a reason; you need the right words to convey the right meaning, and explaining stuff right is a hugely important part of science. Cultures that live around loads of snow have loads of words to describe different types of snow; cultures that live in deserts have loads of words to describe different types of sand. Complex language is needed for complex meaning.
