BOTH OF THEM ARE VERY OBVIOUSLY EMBARRASSED BY THEM, THE TWO ARE VERY BIG ON SUCCESS AND SUCH, BRIAN ESPECIALLY. BRIAN A LOT OF THE TIME IS JUST LIKE ' YOU'RE HALF ME YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE SOME REDEEMING QUALITIES RIGHT?!' HE'S LIKE,,, SUBCONCIOUSLY AWARE THAT HE IS MOST LIKELY THE REASON WHY LAUGHING STOCK IS THE WAY THAT HE IS, THOUGH KNOWING BRIAN HE WOULD NEVER ADMIT IT AND KINDA JUST PUSH THAT BLAME ON THEM. IT'S REALLY EASY FOR BRIAN TO JUST START SEETHING WHEN LAUGHING STOCK MESSES UP.
DAVE ON THE OTHER HAND, IS SURPRISINGLY SO MUCH MORE EMBARRASSED BY LAUGHING STOCK THAN BRIAN. HE'S NOT REALLY USED TO *THIS* MUCH NEGATIVE ATTENTION,, AT LEAST NOT ANYMORE,, SO EXPERIENCING IT SECONDHAND THROUGH LAUGHING STOCK ABSOLUTELY KILLS HIM, *ESPECIALLY* WHEN LAUGHING STOCK RESEMBLES HIM MORE APPEARANCE WISE. MORE HEADCANONY BUT I THINK IN THE PAST DAVE WAS A LOT LESS CONFIDENT/A BIT OF A DOUCHE TO OTHERS (MAYBE EVEN TRIED STAND UP IN THE PAST AND SUCKED) SO SEEING LAUGHING STOCK REMINDS HIM OF HIS PAST SELF WHICH HE *VERY* MUCH WANTS DEAD,,, HE FEELS BAD FOR THE GUY AND WANTS TO HYPE HIM UP BUT IT'S SO HARD,, EVEN FOR DAVE
MEANWHILE LAUGHING STOCK IS THERE LIKE "GOSHH THEY HATE ME FOR BECAUSE I'M MY STUPID CRINGE SELF." WHEN REALLY ITS "THEY DON'T LIKE ME BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY'RE THE REASON I'M MISERABLE"
