Chaque nuit, elle dormait avec son python, lové autour d'elle, pressant ses écailles contre sa chaleur moite. Mais alors celui-ci se mit à manger moins, à dormir de plus en plus, à sembler chaque jour moins énergique. Le vétérinaire lui annonça alors : "Il n'est pas malade, oh non ! Simplement, il s'est mis en jeûne, et s'il se blottit contre vous chaque nuit, c'est pour mieux vous étudier, vous analyser... car il a l'intention de faire de vous son prochain repas."

Night after night, she was sleeping with her snake, feeling it cold scales on her flesh. But the snake started eating less and less, being tired all the time and it worried the woman. So the vet told her : "Oh, he isn't sick at all... However, he stop feeding himself, and if he is snuggling against you, it is because he is studying you, as  is planning to eat you very soon".
