SUMMARY: Messing around with Trey after cooking!!

WARNINGS: Nothing major, but Y/N is short enough to sit on a kitchen counter/bench and swing their feet around!

COMMENTS: Writing this was hard. Trey is the only one in Heartslabyul that I'm not in love with a massive fan of purely bc one of my friends simps for him so hard that it would feel weird for me to be into him. also I want cookies now.

"And now, all that's left to do is wait." Trey said as he put the cookies in the oven. He wiped his forehead with his arm, adjusted his glasses and then turned and smiled at you.

You were sitting on the counter of Heartslabyul's kitchens, swinging your feet around with a smile. Ace had helped you out with Grimm recently, and, as payment, he'd allowed you to select one of his chores to do. Turns out, assisting Trey, your friend and crush, with the cooking for the upcoming Unbirthday Party was on said list. You'd immediately claimed that task as your own, thinking it would be a good opportunity to spend some time with your crush.

"What now, Trey?" You slid off the counter with a bounce and grinned at him.

His smile slid into a smirk, making your heart beat just a little faster. "For now, you should probably go and get cleaned up. You're covered in flour. There's almost more flour on you than there is in this entire kitchen."

You blinked. "Huh?"

He chuckled. "Didn't notice?" He took your arm and led you to the polished silver bowl. It warped your reflection, but you could see yourself clearly enough to realise that he was right.

"Oops."

"Oops is right." He grinned at you, reassuring you that everything was okay. "Now go get cleaned up." As if to emphasise his point, he swiped his thumb across your face, cleaning off some of the flour.

You felt your face start to heat up as you grinned at him.

You didn't want to leave just yet. Everything was too much fun. So, you decided it was time to employ the lessons Grimm and Ace had accidentally drilled into you:

How To Be A Menace 101.

"What if I don't want to?"

He raised an eyebrow. "You want to stay covered in flour? Okay, be my guest." He shrugged and turned away.

You pouted, thinking hard. It was not fair that he should be completely clean and dandy while you were covered in flour. If you had to deal with it, he should have to deal with it too.

You reached out and grabbed his arm, pulling him slightly closer than you meant to.

"Hey- what-?"

Moving quickly, you lunged forward with your other hand, trying to put as much flour on his face as possible. He dodged backwards and grinned.

"Come on, Prefect. You're not gonna get me that easily." He smirked and then ducked from another flour attack.

Let the games begin.
