i cannot remember the author for the life pf me but they wrote abt how Black ppl under colonialism are agender just in the sense that Blackness has such a major influence/impact on the way we create define maintain gender that the way we must navigate gender is so different that it really is smth that goes beyond binary ^^ prev tags ...except other cultures always masculinize Black people. like the assumption is that we are all hyper aggressive and hypersexual and... ...hyper-strong there are medical professionals TODAY who believe that Black people don't feel pain/feel pain less severely than nonblacks the assumption is that Black women are domineering loud amd aggressive. you know. mannish.
